I hired Wright Creative Co. (****** ******), to perform a photography service at my wedding May 5, 2024. When I received the gallery, I noticed that she had left out a huge portion of standard wedding photos, the bridal portraits. She did so because she forgot to take them. I kindly asked her to correct this mistake by doing a reshoot or by covering the cost of having to hire another photographer to take the photos she forgot to take. She refused. I have written proof of her admitting her mistake and directly contradicting the promises made in her contract, which I have attached below. Because I tried to handle this matter directly and was dismissed, even though she took responsibility, I am seeking a full refund. We paid Wright Creative Co. $2800, she sent $100 back to us via ***** during our dispute to make the problem go away, so I am seeking the remaining $2700. Had she agreed to remedy the issue with a reshoot or covered the cost of hiring an additional photographer, I would not be pursuing the matter further, which I stated to her very clearly, but still she refused. I attached her contract below, as well as the message she sent me in which she stated, "all matters aside from the missing portraits were out of her control." Yet her contract states she "cannot be responsible for missing coverage outside of her control." Her admitting this was within her control is a direct breach of contractual agreement. She breached contract a second time, when she showed up without her designated "second shooter" a second photographer for the 8-hour time slot. She attempted to remedy this the day of, by having her husband come, who then left hours before the wedding was over. I have attached her document detailing her packages, in which she is promising 8 hours of coverage with a "second shooter." We received, at most, 5 hours of coverage where both photographers were present. I look forward to receiving a refund, to cover the cost of having to have my wedding photos redone.
