  I was scammed by this business and now they are refusing to return my property. My commercial vehicle broke down in *********, **. I called several mechanic shops in the area and described the type of truck, engine, and issues I was having with truck. ******** (**) *******, the owner of Heavy Foot Diesel LLC, stated he could repair the vehicle. I paid a local towing company to take the vehicle to BJ's shop. When I arrived at the shop in a separate vehicle, ** stated he could not get to the truck at the moment and gave me his number and I gave him my number. We never completed any paperwork or discussed any repairs. The next day I did not hear from BJ, therefore, I called him. He stated he still had not gotten a chance to check out my vehicle. After days of not getting an update, a coworker and I drove back to *********. When we arrived at the shop BJ was not there, but I was able to speak with another mechanic on duty who stated, "we have not looked at your truck, I'm not even sure why they had you bring it here because we don't repair big trucks. We have never worked on these types of engines." When BJ arrived I asked him about the status of the truck and he claimed he had done a diagnosis on the truck and the parts alone would cost $10,000 plus an additional $8000 for labor. I asked could he provide me documentation so I could see if I could find the parts for cheaper and order them myself. ** then stated he could not use any parts unless he ordered them, but he had a friend who could probably do the work and he may allow me to order my own parts. He refused to give me the friends number and said he would give his friend a call. He stated the friend is usually very busy so it may take a while to hear back. After never hearing from the "friend" and the truck sitting with no further progression, I attempted to have the truck towed to a different shop. ******** blocked the tow truck and stated I was not getting my truck until I pay him $3800 for storage fees.
