    I purchased a new heat pump / furnace from ZAP on June 38, 2024. The air conditioner worked through the summer but when I turned the heat onno heat is blowing. I have called them numerous times. They have been out here twice. Once to tell me my brand new unit had a bad board and they had to order a new one5 cold nights and days later they returned with another new boardthat lasted one hourthen they didnt return until the following day saying they had installed another bad board and needed to order yet another. They have not called back. Im 70 years old and have no other place to shelter.

    I am sorry your new system has stopped working in heat mode. My technician came out on a service call and diagnosed a defective control board initially. We ordered and installed the part when we received. All functions worked properly at that time. We then received another call that the unit stopped working and my technician returned to discover the new board had failed. The part has been reordered and my service manger and technician will return to install the part and go through the system to make sure everything is operating properly as soon as part is received. It is rare to receive a new defective part however sometimes it does happen. My apologizes. We will have your system up and running as soon as the part is received.
