    Jose Hernandez is not a general contractor and does not have a license. He also provided an incorrect TAX ID. I hired him to paint and repair a rental property that I invested in. The cost was $21,000. He started with painting the exterior and that went OK. When it was time to paint the interior and install flooring he never completed the job. I tried to work with him and encourage him to get things done several times. He promised the entire project would be complete within 30 days. He started in May 2022. He stopped returning my calls in August, kept my money and never finished the job. I had to reinstall toilets because he didn't mount them correctly and they leaked. The faucets in the bathrooms were not installed properly and fell off. I spent more time repairing Jose's blundered work than ever. I ended up paying Jose more than $18,000 before he stopped returning my calls. I think Jose has a good heart and gift to gab. I tried to work with him and despite the ongoing issues.

    Paid Jose Hernandez cash money to put flooring down in dinning room & hallway in my home and he never returned to finish incomplete job. He was paid 1200 dollars before job was started. That was full payment according to price agreement. He stated that he had * ***** ** *** ****** ** ** *** **** ** ****** After that he stated that he had ****** ***** ** . He keep coming up with excuses until I finally said let’s meet and com up with a date for you to complete the job and fix the part of the job he had said needed repairs. The original work was supposed to start on **** 22 which he didn’t show up so after I got him on phone he came only after I threaten with pictures of his unfinished not done correctly work. Long story short he never finished job agreed upon. I have pictures of his incomplete job. After our conversation about me being unhappy with the work he did so far he never came back nor did he return my money
