    My husband and I purchased a house and reached out to The Glass Guru of Columbus to inspect the windows after having a home inspection done with problems to some of the windows. **** ********* came out to the house the end of April 2022, inspected, got measurements, and said he could special order a window that needs to be replaced. ******* Mr. ********* said we would have to pay 50% deposit before they could order the window. May ** 2022 $1148.63 was paid in advance for the company to special order the window and replace it. July **** I received a text message that the window is scheduled to be in the following week. I did not hear anything else from the company after July ***** I reached out ****** since there has been no follow up or given any status updates on the product and months have gone by since we paid for services. Mr. ********* said he would talk to his boss that it may have gotten lost. I have text messages showing these conversations. The business should not be able to retrieve money for services and months go by with no status updates or completion of services. This is very bad business.

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/21) */ Let me start with I understand their frustration; During & post Covid the supply chain with our vendors have faced numerous challenges and in this situation the glass was custom which has a longer turn time. The first delivery some of the glass was broken and had to be reordered and put us back to square one. We certainly could have done a better job in communicating up-dates with the customer; although there were text messages between the customer and glass guru; When the custom glass finally came in we called to schedule the installation and customer refused and said at this point they just wanted their money back and refused to schedule the install date! We do not give refunds due to operational issues that are out of our control.
