    I would not recommend preferred homes to anyone. This company help make the process of buying amanufactured home hell. because I live outside of Columbus. They will not come and grade my yard because they didn’t want to bring down equipment so far I had to find a greater, I had no experience in finding a grading company.But I found one to do my yard and it was not done properly. I complainef about the process of having my home delivered they did not want to deal with me anymore. They allowed the house to be in a location that was not property done. It should’ve been elevated Higher to keep the flood the water from coming in my yard even though my greater did my yard. They knew it wasn’t done properly but they continue to go with the process so they could receive the check for closing the deal they sent the contractors to my house and done a poor job of installing things in my house . getting preferred Home and Scotbilt to do repairs was a headache. The things in my house has taken me five months. I do not want to refer this company to anyone that they may have a horror store like I did the company doesn’t care about you and how much money you pay for this house all they won’t is just the closing cost of this home Prefer homes and Scotbilt working together made this the worst experience that I’ve ever had. I have never seen a retailer that claim the customer lived too far to give them the services that they needed. We had to get a contractor to build our porch we had to get a greater to do our yard. These are things that eventually came with the Loan package, but because they could not and would not do it. It was taken out of the package . They have been doing this for years and no what to do to get away with the things that they are doing. Please do your research before buying and manufacture home. Please view your home before you sign your contract your loan contract. Please ask questions about the structure, the painting have someone else to inspect the house
