    I filed my taxes with this company a few days before the tax deadline in **** I paid my money up front. When I called to check in on the information they had provided me to check the refund status I could not get in touch with anyone for weeks. I finally get ahold to them and my refund status is pending and has been pending for the longest. I reached out to them by phone and email no response. It wasn’t until a family friend reached out on my behalf to nudge them about my taxes. Finally spoke with someone and she said she would check on my taxes. That was in December. I never heard back from them. I called today and finally spoke with someone. The lady had no accountability whatsoever on helping with getting my taxes fixed. They were very rude and unprofessional. After I hung up they proceeded to call me back and harass me.

    In response to the above named  complaintant,****** ******* chose to have her taxes prepared by Global Tax Service.  She chose to do an upfront payment.  We informed her that by doing this she would be able to check her own status because any information would be coming directly from the IRS.  She informed us that her status was pending.  After the return was pending for quite some time she informed us and wanted us to find out what was going on.  Due to the pandemic and afterward,the IRS was short staffed. We also informed her that she was not the only with a return pending there were others.The situation was beyond our control.   We apologize for any inconvience, but there was nothing that Global Tax Service  could do about it. We thank you in advance.
