  $16,700 tow bill for a bus. He advertised to me in writing the price would be 3K to get the job, but implied by phone it might be more. He gets on location, they let the hold go on my cc and tell me "the supervisor will call" and "we wont know the price until we are done". I have 30 years experience in transportation. This was a 2 hour job. They managed to sssssstttttrrrrreeeeettttccccchhhhh that to 8 hours so that they can bill 2K per hour, thus changing the terms of the agreement WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. Emails back and forth, let me afraid that they had other intentions. But as with all *** governed entities, I was able to quickly find out that he has a PENDING CANCELLATION on his commercial insurance effective three days after my tow. This guy sends me an email and tells me that I may not collect my bus, that I am only allowed to pay the bill and leave. I must send a tow to retrieve it off his property. Cole's had taken apart the axle to be able to tow it, but obviously didn't know how to reinstall it. We drove 6 hours to retrieve our bus, for him to tell us he is keeping our bus. When we threatened to call the police, things started moving in our favor. I am genuinely surprised a young business owner like Jonathon would put himself in such a predicament as hard as he has worked to be successful. What a shame for him.

  Fantastic service many times over. I called and they quickly showed up. Told me the price on the call before they came. So easy to deal with. No issues and I've used them is a few different situations and places.

  This company is very dishonest and take advantage of their customers. I wish I would have never contacted them. This company has bring so much stress and frustration to my life!

  I had to get one of my trucks towed because it was blocking the road truck was towed not more then ** miles it cost over ****.00 dollars then to tow it to a shop was another ****.00 I’ve been in the trucking business for over 35 years and have lots of trucks towed in ******* from one side of the state to the other never payed close to that much . There happy to make a big hit and not care about return business and your at the mercy of the tow company once your on the hook

  Im so sorry that the ******** ****** called in for a tow of your box truck. We towed you to our impound and then ** miles away afterwards. We do apologize for the bad circumstances in which you encounter us. our billing system is justified based on the job performed. I pray you got your truck back up and running and home. Thanks for your business its greatly appreciated.

  Cole Towing and Recovery is a great service company. They are affiliated with ***. They towed my car for me. Everything was professional and smooth. I was impressed by the driver and his thoroughness in getting my car onto his rig.

  The technician was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He found the problem right away and took care of it immediately.
  Even though everything is online in this day and age, upon request he made me out a physical paper receipt. I like a paper trail.

  The ONLY reason I would give them a 1 star is because nothing lower is offered to leave a review. We had a wheel bearing go out on a loaded ******* trailer with live animals loaded on it and the county that we were in called Cole's towing to the scene. The first call was made @ 6:50am and it took the towing service until around 10am just to get all of the equipment needed to get the trailer so it could be moved. We were finally able to open the road up @ just after 11am which had been closed down to 1 lane since 7am. Johnathan was the person in charge at the scene that was representing the company. The trailer was loaded with live animals and the company acted as it was no concern to them how long they had to sit on the trailer and be exposed to the heat. Johnathan even threatened to take the load to his impound yard and hold the live animals without food, water or shelter from the sun unless we paid the $56,000 dollars. When we disputed the bill Johnathan told us that he was called by the county and could charge whatever he wanted, and we had to pay it, or he would not release the trailer. We finally reached an agreement which was still VERY costly for a tow fee around 2pm after calling multiple government agencies which had to be contacted due to a live animal being involved. To sum it all up we paid $12,240.00 for job that should have taken them 1 hour at most and then our live animals were held on the trailer and could not be removed until we could reach a settlement. SOMEONE should regulate towing companies that are on a government rotation so that Companies such as this one cannot operate in such a dishonest fashion and take advantage of customers when they were called by an agency from a rotation list. I have receipts for all statements of charges.
