    On 07 November 2024, we were scheduled to take our cat into this facility for a spay and rabies vaccine. We adopted the pet from *********, and the adoption facility fees paid cover the cost of the adoption, spay, and vaccine. This location was selected to render the services by the adoption company. This facility (Affordable Veterinary Services) refused to give a rabies vaccine to our cat because the cat was vaccinated from another facility. The reason for the separate rabies vaccine (at another facility we paid out of pocket) was because the cat must be shipped to ****** as part of a military move. This requires a FAVIN test. FAVIN tests require TWO (2) Rabies vaccines prior to the FAVIN test. The Doctor refused to render the services. Additionally, the facility charged an extra $20 claiming our cat was in heat. There is no way to prove or disprove this claim. This facility attempts to add more charges while also refusing to render services that are already paid for. No voucher for the lack of performing the Rabies vaccine was given, yet we were charged an extra $20. This should not have occurred. When I brought this up to the employees, it became a verbal dispute with over 5 women working, to include the Doctor. It was incredibly unprofessional and combative.
