      I received a call from ******************* who stated I owe a debt to EZ Money for $1004 from 2018. When asking for validity of the debt, was not able to provide just continued to threaten they would be turning it over to the county to arrest me and and I "will have my chance to defend myself in court". ************************* misrepresented herself as an attorney, which she is not, *************************** was kind, however my interest in understanding this debt was a bother to her and she let me know I was wasting her time and hung up on me.

      2/8/2024 11:44am EST Received a call from my mother that a business reached out to her and left her a voicemail. I called the number I was given by her and reached the customer service for MainOne **********************. The person on the phone was *************************. She informed me about a third party called ********* Easy Money and a balance with them for $1,326. I have NEVER heard of wither of these company's. When I explained this to ****************, she was extremely rude and nasty, then threatened to *** me and hung up. Whatever can be done would be greatly appreciated, this is pathetic and a very terrible way to conduct "business".

      *********************** from this company called my child's phone repeatedly, even after being told we do not know the individual she was looking for. She then proceeded to leave a Voicemail for the individual including his full name, address AND social security number. When I called her to let her know that we do not know the guy and that she cannot leave this kind of info on a random Voicemail, she called me names and hung up on me repeatedly, and never allowed me to speak. I asked for a manager and she said "fuck you" and hung up again. I am unable to locate a number for a main office of this company to report her illegal activities.

      These people have been calling me from different numbers. Which come up as possible spam. They have left messages and called my step mother! They said I owed $2500 or something to EZcorp EZmoney from between 2006-2019 and that ***** passed a bill so creditors could go after people for 20 years or soemthing. She said it was charged off in ****************************************************************************************************** have to pay the court filing fees as well. I do NOT have any recollection of any payday loan taken out then or ever. I asked for some proof and they sent some random email with the account number etc and how much I could pay to take care of it. They said theyd accept $810 and could wait 3 weeks since they know people are getting bonuses and taxes this time of year. I have the email. I have multiple voicemails and the one call to my step mother in **** of all people. They said theyd call back Feb 16th for payment.

      keeps calling our number wanting an Victim Impact Payment for something that we have no association with.

      Transaction date was August 10 in the amount of *******. They called stating they were attempting to collect a debt and they gave me an amount of **** but said I could pay it off in full at **** with a $32 service fee. They provided me information about the debt that I owed but after speaking with the original debt holder they do not own the account and it belongs to another creditor called ************************* and they provided documentation that the debt had not been paid as it was stated to me from one main mediation group. In the supporting documents, youll find the original debt to speedy cash showing its still outstanding.

      Through the whole month of 12/23 my employer, family members, and I have been getting calls from these people. They initially claimed, in voice mails, to be called vanguard, and then premier. When I spoke to them, they claimed to be One Main Mediation calling on behalf of ezcorp/ezmoney. They threatened me with court and wage garnishment of several thousand dollars that I could avoid for a payment of, at first, $900, then later on, $500. They claimed it was an initial loan of $400 that went delinquent in 2018 and that even if I didn't take it out, my "wife" may have and that I'd still be held responsible. When I mentioned I've been divorced since 2013, she said the loan was taken out well be fore ******************************************** 2018, which makes no sense. I would have remembered paying on an initial loan of $400 for atleast 5 years before letting it go delinquent, not to mention that's a ridiculous length of time to pay back 400. I'm a single father with full custody of my 3 kids that cares about my credit score. I was almost scared into paying it until she couldn't give me any way to verify that the claim was legitimate and the numbers began to not make sense. These calls need to stop or provide a way to verify the debt is legitimate. I have no problems paying any debt I owe, but I don't have the time or money to be wasted on a scam, especially around Christmas.

      The debt collector is named One Main Mediation Group. They are calling about a debt that apparently happened around 2007 or so. The debt they are trying to collect for was EZCorp EZMoney payday loan. The account number is *********** and the reference number ******. *************************, the account representative has called my mom and daughter today around 9 am after I spoke with her last week about this collection attempt. She has threatened to take me to court and expose me to my employer who is the city of Washington DC. They are located in ** but are using some kind of dialing system that generated my local area code and also used this tactic when they called my mom and daughter. My mother is very ill and I haven't taken any payday loans out in many years. When I did, the money was taken out of my bank account to pay it off. This is absolutely disgusting for this company, who represents payday loans, to be calling people after a decade to get money they claim is owed to them. This is fraud and a scam. Calling my family and threatening to tell my job is unlawful. They are saying I owe this company $777 and want me to send them $$388.50, a copy of the email below with these details.

      I was contacted by a ********************* from One Main Mediation Group. She told me I was being served paperwork to appear in court for a debt that she could not tell me the date or company. She also stated she could not give me an address to request this debt in writing. This company is calling various people from a report and leaving messages about my debt. I've had multiple family members reach out to me.

      I am learning this company is scamming people. They reached out to me on the 30th of October advising me I had opened a loan in 2013 through an old job ***** from a company by the name of EZCorp EZ Money. I assured them I did not remember a taking out any loans than, they signed me up to May payment arrangements to avoid getting sued however something just didnt set right with me so I started to research and even called EZCorp myself and spoke to *** @ ************ who advised me there was NO record of a loan through EZCorp what so ever and gave me a website to file a complaint.
