Back in February 2024 I went into an auto shop in conyers ******* and try to purchase a car. I explained to the sales person how my family and I were looking to purchase a vehicle and liked a 2012 infinity qx56 the air bag light was on at the time and they told me they would take care of it and my family was in love with this vehicle so we wanted it frankly, once my wife and I took a look at the car we felt good about it and wanted to buy . The sales person told me to give him 2500 down once he ran numbers and I cash app him that same day after I sent him money he claimed after that the finance company wanted to inspect the car before they process the loan and that I would need to com get the car the next day and take it to nor cross so they can inspect. The next day comes, I go get the vehicle from ******** the car lot and take it to norcross to ************ Carfinders the inspector gets in and the car struggles to start. We sat down with *** **** our loan specialist at Car **************** and we came to a understanding that because he didn't really want to finance the loan and he felt it wasn't a reliable car for us he would hold off on processing the loan so we can test drive the vehicle and make sure they fix the issues I agreed and we left Norcross not filling any loan paperwork.I got back to ******* with the vehicle parked the car in my driveway and it broke down in the driveway. ********, the dealership picked the car up via tow after I called about it and they said they would fix problems and to give the a week or so. A week goes by and they said that fixed the vehicle but it ended up breaking down again. At this point *** isn't going to process the loan because its a bad car and we don't even have the car because they count get the issues fixed so I go back to the salesman and ask him for my money back and he basically tells me to sue him so he basically stole my money because I never received a car and they denied my loan due to the condition of vehicleInitial Complaint

May 7,2022 my husband and I purchased an Infiniti Q56 from Britos Auto the service engine light was on and we were told it would be fixed and ready for pick up in a few days.So we put $1,000 down in good faith that it would be fixed. Weekend of Memorial Day we asked to cancel the contract because the *** still was not ready. Britos offered to pay the car note and stated that the *** had a warranty that would cover the repairs, they also put us in a loaner car until the *** was ready in a few days. ***** later they call us saying the vehicle is ready so we attempted to drive it home and it broke down and had to go right back to Britos. Its a year and a half later and we still dont have our vehicle and Britos stopped paying the car note and the most recent loaner car has broken down, so we are stuck paying car note and car insurance on a vehicle we never received after being promised multiple times it was getting repaired. Also we no longer have a loaner car either. We have been lied to on multiple occasions about repairs, and they have not made any effort to correct the fact that they sold us a lemon. This has been the worst experience Ive had financing a car and wouldnt suggest anyone to purchase a vehicle from them. They constantly lie and patch cars up, the cars arent ever fully functional. Please save yourself a headache and money wasted, do not purchase a vehicle from Britos Auto, they do not have reliable cars!Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2014 Ram Cargo Van from Britos Auto Sales in ******* **, on January 6th, 2023. I noticed there was a check engine light on before I purchased the vehicle. ************** the Sales Manager insured me a mechanic will figure out why the check engine light was on and take care of the matter before I came to purchase the vehicle. unfortunately, the check engine light was still on when I arrived with my mother who was my co-signer for the vehicle. He told me he would have a mechanic to look over it again. A few days later he said the vehicle was ready and I could come pick it up. I picked it up and the same day the check engine light came on. I told **************, the engine light was back on, and I will be bringing it back, however before I could get back, I had an accident and had to have the vehicle towed back to Britos Auto by the authorization of **************. ************** also told me it was ok to leave the vehicle there for a while until things were sorted out with the details. He never called me to say I needed to pick up the vehicle from the lot even though I had spoken to him several times to figure out what happened with the insurance that I had opt to have added to the vehicle at the time of purchase Next, I received a letter from the ********************************** that stated there was a bill owed of $6,742.00 for storage fees. I called **************, he informed me that the vehicle was moved from his lot by an employee, and when asked why he didn't send a letter or call to inform me that the vehicle needed to be moved, he said I would have to contact the information on the letter to get it back. Now on 10/23/2023, ******************* sent notice that the vehicle will be auctioned off in a matter of days it's like West Lake and Britos are running a ring to trick people into trusting them to buying vehicles that are not safe and then repossessing them and sending them to auction to get another payday. Now I have no vehicle, and my credit is jeopardy of ruin.Business Response

BRITOS AUTO SALE SOLD THE VEHICHLE AS -IS WITH NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON WHICH HAD PASSED EMMISIONS TEST SO WHEN THEY TOOK DELIVERY OF THE *** THERE WAS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. THEY BOUGHT THE VEHICLE BACK FEW DAYS LATER AND WE RESOLVED THE ISSUE FROM THAT POINT ON THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. MY UNDERSTANDING WAS HE HAD ACCIDENT IN HIS *** FROM WHAT MY USED CAR MANAGER TOLD ME AT THAT TIME AND ASK COULD HE TOW IT BACK TO OUR LOT. THEY ALLOWED HIM TO DO THAT IN *** 2023 THE VEHICLE STAYED ABANDONED ON OUR LOT FOR 6 MONTHS MY USED CAR MANAGER AT THAT TIME SENT LETTERS AND TRIED CALLING BOTH BUYERS ON THE LOAN WITH NO ANSWER AT SOME POINT IT WAS MOVED TO OUR ABANDONED LOT.
WESTLAKE IS THE LIENHOLDER BUT AS LONG AS THE CUSTOMER WAS MAKING THEIR PAYMENTS Westlake WOULD NOT HAVE REPOSSED THEIR VEHICLE, DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT CUSTOMER IS REFERING TO WESTLAKE AND ********************** RUNNING A RING TO TRICK PEOPLE WE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH TOW LOT AND WESTLAKE WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER VEHICLE BEING AUCTIONED OFF WHAT THAT MEANS IS CUSTOMER WAS NOT MAKING THEIR PAYMENTS AND WAS BEHIND ON THEIR NOTE THAT WOULD BE THE ONLY WAY WESTLAKE IS AUCTIONING THE VEHICLE OFF.
i HOPE THIS ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS IN REGARD TO OUR POSITION IN THIS TRANSACTION WE DID EVERYTHING WE COULD IN GOOD FAITH.
RESPECTFULLY

My Husband and I purchased a car from this dealership on 10/10/2022. We were approved and had to pay $2,500 down. It will be two months we have had this car on 12/10/2022. Yesterday we both received notification that our credit was ran again and then received a call from a new finance company that we applied for a new car loan. Our credit was ran without our knowledge or consent, I called the dealership to see what was going on and why my Husband and I credit was ran again and without first contacting us. I was told the previous finance company we were approved by which is ************ had not paid them since we purchased the car and that they could not reach them, so they reran our credit to find us another lender. Without a consent from the both of us is illegal and the finance company not paying them is not my husband and I fault. This company has been nothing but unprofessional and lies to cover up things, We are now not feeling confident in our purchase and is seeking legal advice and guidance.
