On April 14 2020 i purchased a car from ************** Sales.I made a down payment of $500 and agreed to weekly payments of $58.72 a month for 4 years. Which i did make my payments on time every week. I was making payments to Ready Finance. So when i got my car at ************** Sales they gave me a 6 months warranty on my car. A couple of weeks i drove it the check engine light came on and i had it checked and the man said that my catalayc converter was messed on it. So I called Ready Finance and they were supposed to fix it. I took my car up there 3 tines and it still wasnt fixed so i told them i would take my car to a local mechanic and let them fix it and Ready Finance can pay for it. In which they did. So i finally got the car paid off January 25 2024 . 4 months early, So when i went to Ready Finance to pay off my car i asked the young lady at the front desk if i could get my extra key and my title to my car. She said yes *** girls name was *******. So she went into this back room and came out with a key and after she took my final payment on my car she handed me a piece of paper stating i needed to contact the emailthat she provided for me and they could further assist me. So i contacted them and nothing was said about it .So 2 days later i get aemail telling me i could come and pick up my extra key and title. And that was that. So i wanted to jusst try and see if i could trade my caarin for another one and come to find out my car is a salvaged/rebuilt car and the title is a rebuilt title So the guy at the dealership wouldnt even talk to me about a car after that. So i contacted Ready Finance about the information and they told me that the guy gave me the wrong information. ************** Sales never mentioned to me that the car they were selling me was a salvaged car. So we continued to talk backand forth via email and they sent me a very nasty email. And i guess gto cover their a** they deleted all the conversations between us but thats ok bc i have witnessBusiness Response

Congratulations on paying off your car loan.
You are well known to your local payment center. We appreciate you and we respect you. We have made a significant effort to help you when you needed, and to review this complaint with you prior to this date.
We are a loan service provider. We are not a retail car lot. We are not a mechanic shop.
In or around April of 2020 you became known to our facility as an applicant in real need of transportation. You had real limitations related to your verifiable ability to afford and/or pay for a car loan payment. You needed a car payment of approximately $58.00. The retailer worked at length sourcing a vehicle that might serve your needs while not stressing your budget. The only option available was a vehicle with a title noted by the ****************, as rebuilt. This is NOT a salvage title. You and the retailer transparently communicated, mutually worked through your unique process of securing insurance on this vehicle, and at that time you were well informed and happy.
You applied for a car loan on this specific vehicle with intimate understanding that this vehicle was mutually offered and accepted as a rare option for you and your circumstances. You were approved for that car loan. You used that car loan to purchase this vehicle. You then worked through the unique process of getting insurance in your name on this vehicle.
A six-month warranty was provided to you at no additional cost. The vehicle you purchased had a mechanical issue. The warranty activity did require several repeat visits to a mechanic shop. This is not work we performed; this is work that was performed by mechanic vendors in your area. We agree that additionally, you personally managed a mechanical repair that was also paid for by the warranty. The result was that the warranty functioned as designed and your vehicle was repaired in a manner that was appropriate and/or acceptable to you at that time. You have owned and operated the vehicle for over four years. To our knowledge the vehicle is still serving your needs.
At some point you scheduled a surgery and requested to not make payments for approximately a month. An arrangement was mutually agreed to, and this process seemingly worked out as your requested.
Near the end of your loan, we are aware that you applied for a new loan with our facility to trade in or purchase a different vehicle of substantially higher cost/value. Your financial circumstances made that a challenge. You made your dissatisfaction known. We fully understand your frustration.
You paid your loan off. The process was completed as you described.
You seemingly had a positive experience with our facility until we were unable to provide you a loan for a purchase that exceeded reasonable parameters. From that point until now, your tone was/is aggressive and resentful.
You reported that you tried to trade in, and that your vehicle was a salvage vehicle and not legal to be on the road. THIS IS WRONG. We went to great lengths to clarify this for you.
We are proud to have been able to get you approved for a loan. We are proud that we were able to work through this loan service process together for almost four years. We are proud that you had a positive experience with the warranty service and that it did pay for ************.
Your request to refund payments, is not reasonable or ethical.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: they are lying about certain things on their response.

We appreciate you. We have maintained a good relationship with you for approximately four years, right until the end of your loan, when we were unable to successfully secure a new loan, on your behalf. Since that time, you have been dissatisfied and seemingly angry. We have tried to make you happy. We continue to try and talk through reality with you.
You had buying challenges in 2020. You found a retailer that was able to help you. You applied for a car loan. You were approved for that car loan. You used that car loan to transparently purchase a vehicle that met your needs. You were provided a warranty at no additional purchase cost to you. That warranty served you when you needed it. During your four year use of the vehicle and repayment of your loan, you had a need to not make payments. That need was met with cooperation by your loan service provider. You paid off your loan.
You have a vehicle, that is paid for in full, and that continues to serve your needs.
This is a success story.
We may have to agree to disagree, but we are proud to have been here when you needed us. We respect you, we appreciate you, and we hope your vehicle continues to serve you well.
We are happy to continually cooperate with this process. We concede that we are seemingly unable to make you happy since we were unable to secure a new loan for you.
This is our position and with the variables before us, we consider this matter closed and this conversation complete.
We care about your experience. We care about your perspective. We are listening. We are trying. We have tried.

I am rejecting this response because: it's not the matter about the money nor is it about you wouldn't give me a new car loan. And you're making accusations that I got upset ** you would let me get another car. I just wanted to see if I might could get one. I'm satisfied with my car but I'm satisfied about the lies your telling about how angry I was. Well if I had to put up with rude employees like you then you'd be angry too. And as far my surgery went y'all told you would come and repo my car if I couldn't make payments so y'all set it up to where I had maybe $300 more extra dollars to pay at the end of my term. I didn't agree with that. It was either do that or y'all threatened to come repo my car that I worked my **** off for for 3years at the time. Y'all didn't try and help me at all. You screwed me over. And the case isn't in my book.
Sincerely,

My first complaint with this company is they break collection laws they allow their employees to call on their personal cell phones to your employer by the way this was a new employer, they didn't know I worked here yet. The employee called on her own personal business. The solicited my name and started harassing and threaten me with no work authorization on file and she was calling on her own personal business. They refused to give me a copy of my documents, my pay history and what all my payments are being applied to since I have been paying on a 2011 ***** for over 2 years on biweekly payments of 300 and they say I still owe $12,000. My biggest complaint however is how they are very unprofessional and harass and threaten clients at every turn. I feel like this company is ripping people off and using threatening tactics to force them into bad positions and almost making me lose my new job over their unprofessionalism and lack of respect for collection laws
