On Thursday July 6th, 2023, Shack Electric manager ********************************************** returned a ladder with the electrician ******************************* rented from ********** and charged $176.80 on my card on file without my authorization. On Monday July 3rd, 2023, I went to ********** with the electrician Shavanda to buy materials for electrical work. The electrician who needed a ladder to complete the job asked to use my card for the rental deposit because the Apple card in her possession was declined. She promised to reimburse me after job completion that day. After job completion, she reimbursed me for the deposit made with my card, but left the ladder at my house to be retrieved for return to ********** the next day. However, when ******* and ******** returned to my house 3 days later, they picked up the ladder, told me they will take care of the bill, and returned it to **********. Surprisingly, they charged my card on ********** file for $176.80 without my permission and quoted the information on the receipt given to me after job completion that I am responsible to take care of any work equipment they need for the job. I was shocked. I sent several text messages to ******* the manager to reimburse and refund the charge, she refused.I consider it a scam and theft by taking because terms of work was not disclosed to me before the job commenced either orally, electronically or in paper; I did not sign for any work order prior to starting the job. However, a receipt was sent to my cell phone through messaging at the end of the job.******* of Shack electric does not have my permission or authority to charge my card on ********** file on 7/6/2023, therefore she should Zelle $176.80 to my Wellsfargo account number *************. A dispute with claim number *********** is opened with the bank against **********/Shack Electric. ********************* should pay ********** for renting a ladder with her company bank account, not the customer bank account. Please help!
