      I have been using this tax preparation company for approximately 6 years, and we have had no problems. About 5 years ago a representative of Dataday suggested that I give her different expense information that would really make a big difference in a refund from the **************** and ******************* I did this and she was right our refunds for the next 4 years were very good. Then in 2020 things changed in the tax dedication criteria and we were not told by Dataday accountant that there were these changes and we were audited. We have been going back and forth with letters explaining my job and how I get paid and how my pay check pays for my expenses every week. Again and again we got notices for *** and again and again we replied with the information the *** requested. Today Dec. 18 I brought in another letter from the ***. I took this letter again to Dataday and ***** the owner told me that there was nothing he could do, he told just to pay it. Well, this was their responsibility to handle my tax returns and make sure that they were on the up and up....NO not according to ***** (Dataday owner) he was not responsible. I also asked him why we haven't signed the return for 2022 and he tells me that he did not file them, then he give me my paper work for 2022 and was supposed have been filed Oct. 21st 2023. He had filed for an extension back in April 2023. I'm filing a complaint and I want Dataday responsible for their actions and pay the tax and penalties due.
