  My wife contracted MCO professionals to create built-in cabinets with archways in our living room, to do some trim work associated with those cabinets, and to paint our center island and range-hood this summer June of 2022. They were doing a great job, though it took a lot longer than expected, but then once they were about 90% complete they just stopped doing all of the work. They started ignoring all of our texts and all of our calls. Ultimately, this company just walked away from the job after demanding payment, and once they got their payment installment we never heard from them again. The following is a list of the items that we had paid for that they simply walked away from:1. Trim work along the edges of the built-in cabinets left completely unfinished. This includes floor molding, nosing, etc. 2. They didnt install the doors to the cabinets (i.e. created the doors then didnt install them or the hardware.. they just left them laying on the floor) 3. they painted over the archways using a different color paint than the original wall paint in our living room, said they would repaint with the right color, and never did. 4. There were spots that needed spot painting and sanding on the archways, and on the center island that they painted, which they never did. 5. they reinstalled the center island cabinets and some of the door swings were not flush. Probably worst than all of that is the fact that when they painted the range hood and center island they used an adhesive tape that left adhesive residual all over our newly stained wood floors in our kitchen that we cant remove.After many many attempts of calling and emailing and texting we have no further recourse other than to right a review of the terrible time we had with this company. It has been almost 2 months now without a response.

  We are responding again, to let you know we are in the process of filing on the customer who complained. They were very satisfied when we completed the job. We went above and beyond for their very meticulous requests and they did not pay us the remaining balance due after the job was complete. We sent numerous invoice reminders through email and they never responded to emails or texts regarding payment or any issues. Please know we have been trying to resolve this matter. We tried e filing through their county for small claims court and we were recently told it was not received so now we have to drive down to their county courthouse to file on them.

  I am rejecting this response because: The job was never completed by MCO professionals. It is apparent in the photos that were taken and submitted.  We asked the independent contractor that did a majority of the work for MCO professionals to come back to at least complete some of the woodwork and painting and put the cabinet faces and hardware in. He ended up coming back and completed most of the work and we paid him separately, above what we paid ***. At that time, the independent contractor let us know that he was never paid for working on our job and *** left him high and dry. He also said he is no longer working for MCO professionals and was planning to file suite. We also learned that we are one of several clients of MCO professionals that were left with incomplete work and our job is much smaller than some of the other jobs. I hope that other people don't fall victim to this scheme.
