We took our both kids to Lice clinics of America ******* GA center for treatment of lice on Dec 29, 2023 and they charged $200 for each and said our kids would walk free of any lice/nits out of the clinic. But to our dismay, its shocked to see that the treatment didnt work and we see lice still in their head after going to home. They didnt kept their promise and started to look like a scam to us to loot customers. And we called them and he asked us to bring the kids to clinic to recheck on Jan 22, ****. And when we went to clinic, the technicians just took them to the room and started treatment without informing us. And asked us to pay again $400 for both the kids and we refused saying they didnt inform about money matter or fees beforehand. The owner started threatening me and my family on phone that h*** get us arrested if we dont pay. I really dont know what to do, I asked him that Ill pay if he give me promise that lice wont show up again within a week and he refused it too! Were completely shocked and got panicking hearing the arrest word which we didnt expect and that too, without anything wrong on our side. And also, he threatened not to come near that building in future for any future treatments. Is there a law in ** where they can simply get ** arrested when we ask about why the treatment didnt work as advertised. Am in talks with my attorney to check whether it is legal to arrest a customer when he challenge about a past treatment which terribly failed and the business is still advertising as 100% lice free which is totally a false claim. My wife and kids got terrified with this incident and my kids started even crying thinking we would get arrested and dont know how to console them that it is not .I really feel disgusted first time ever in US. I always felt the customer service and business ethics plays an eminent role for any business with paramount importance particularly here in US. Hope my kids would be safer!!

Hello. In response to your complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau, I have the following information to provide. On December 29th of 2023 you did bring both of your daughters to my clinic for treatment. Both girls were seen and treated and were clear of lice when they left my clinic. Your wife called back and set up an appointment for January 22nd of ****. While speaking to your wife on the phone, I informed her that there would be no discounts or anything like that. As I informed you on the phone the night of the 22nd that I have this call recorded through our call tracking matrix system. As to your claim that my technicians just took your children back and began treating them without talking to you is not true at all. I have attached the forms that you signed giving my technicians permission to treat both of your daughters on January 22nd. Once everything was said and done and it became time to pay you refused payment. After my technicians tried to talk to you and explain what was going on they contacted me via cell phone and told me what was going on. While I was trying to talk to you to get an understanding of what was going on your wife continued to interrupt our conversation. You were extremely agitated and argumentative with my staff. I did inform you that if you did not wish to pay that I would contact the police and would apply for warrants for your arrest for theft of services. Due to you and your wife's behavior and actions in the clinic my senior tech told you to leave. Your behavior and actions had caused one of my technicians to break down in tears. I did speak with the ******* ***************** after you had left and was informed that yes,I had the right to apply for a warrant. I did not want to go that route, so I reached back out to you and spoke to you on numerous occasions the night of the 22nd. I explained to you that I did not want to have to do that and that all I wanted you to do was to pay for the treatments that you had received. I also explained to you why you guys did not get the 30-day guarantee. Once again, I will state the reason you did not get the guarantee is because not everyone in your house was checked by us on the 29th of December. While you were still at the clinic my senior tech offered to check you and your wife so that you would have the guarantee going forward and you refused. After speaking to you the last time on January 22nd you had agreed to pay for the treatments. I reduced the price from $400 to $350. At that time, you began offering me up to $1000 to sign a piece of paper stating that your daughters would not get lice again. I informed you that I would not sign anything like that because not everyone in the house had been checked so there was no way I could guarantee you that they would not be reinfected. On top of that it is beyond unethical to accept a bribe. I have put a link in my response to show the requirements for the 30-day guarantee which is on our website. As far as the pricing for the treatments are concerned, you already knew how much it was going to be from your visit back in December. I can completely understand your frustration with your children getting lice again but as I told you on the phone there was nothing that I could do about them getting it again. As far as not allowing you back at my clinic, I did not threaten you in any way. I simply told you that due to the issues that were caused on the night of January 22nd that we would no longer be willing to see your family in our clinic.
