We have a five star rating at ***********  We have a five star rating at another institute.  We have an A+ rating at a third agency.  We are certified by two agencies.

I don't think we are the problem.  We installed your shower by the manufacturer's instructions.  We spent over 7 hours on this job.  You stated you purchased this shower door form Home Depot.  Did the associates help you?  Your shower door is almost 4" too short.  It does not reach the opposite shower wall.  I asked you to take it back and get the next size up.  You said you didn't want to fool with it.

Solution:  Take the shower door down, clean it up, re-pack it, and get the purchase price back.  Purchase the next size up.  The holes on the new wall jams will line up with your existing holes.

I am rejecting this response because:

The issue is not the door size. The issue is that the Mr. ********************** did not properly measure the frame multiple times before drilling the holes on the right side frame. Instead of acknowledging his mistake and trying to make it right, he blamed the size of the door. Since he mismeasured the holes, he then tried to just seal the frame to the tile and drill the two bottom screws in at an angle. The angle caused the frame not to sit flush to the wall. Not to mention, the second s**** is stripped.

Regardless, I gave him multiple opportunities to try and make it right, however, he ignored me. That very fact makes the business rate low in my book.

    Sincerely,

    **** *****

James Yeager was referred to me by the ********** Pro Desk. I reached out to ********** but they do not handle financial disputes. I am hopeful BBB can assist me.On 22, November 2022, I gave James Yeager a $2000 advance on a flooring project. A ************** involving kitchen cabinets was scheduled to follow. James started out doing very well and then his work progressed to be less acceptable. He did not complete the flooring project. The kitchen cabinet project was not started by James. He did not take measurements. He did not assist in ordering the cabinets. He did not check on the cabinets that were delivered. He did not provide samples or guidance regarding countertops. He did not provide a cost estimate. He did request a trip charge in order to even meet with me. I declined to agree to the trip charge. James did provide a refund check for the flooring project - which I accepted.James provided a partial refund in the amount of $1559 against the $2000 advance on the kitchen cabinet project. Having not done any work on the kitchen cabinet project, I requested payment in full which leaves a balance due me of $441. I am requesting BBB assistance in getting the $441 that would make a full refund on the project that James did not work. I have attached documentation. If additional information or clarity is needed, please contact me.

There is no contract to purchase
And install cabinets .Our contract was to install a new
Floor. She paid $2000 for work performed
On the floor. Not an advance payment.
Upon completion of the job, she
    Paid $5267.28.

This was paid after a final walkthrough.

But she made a mistake and over paid.

We sent her one check for the
    Over payment. #1.

A second check for work that
She canceled. #2. A smaller check.

But all of this was for flooring.

    No contract for cabinets.

She is not due any more
    Reimbursement .

She is not our *****. No contract for cabinets at all.

She tried to get money from ********** but was denied.

We are a five star company at **********.

********** notified ** of her actions
And we were cleared of any wrong doing.
********** said this would not affect our relationship with them at all.
    We have dismissed her complaints
And encourage you to do the same.

I am rejecting this response because:

    1. The information provided in the response from James is not accurate. I have responded item by item in the attached document.

    2. The response submitted by James refers to cancelled work and does not provide any evidence of cancelled work. All other work items are documented in detail via text messages. For the 'cancelled work' no documentation whatsoever is provided. The truth is that no work was ever cancelled. James should provide documentation regarding the 'cancellation.' Otherwise, the full $2000 should be returned to me - as per my original request at the time of the error. Based on the documentation provided, I am still due $441 from James.

    3. Additionally, the response provided by James from ********** is not accurate. I have provided documentation to support the response ********** provided to me. James should provide ********** documentation as well so that any and all discrepancies can be cleared up.

    Sincerely,

    *******************************
