    In Feb 2023 I hired Georgia Premier Roofing to put a new roof on my home. There was storm damage so they went threw my insurance, Travelers. Travelers gave them over $10,000. They approved over $20,000. However the company never showed up to place a new roof on. Initially, I was working with a man name ******. He kept saying that they were waiting for my company to pay. I called my company which stated that they paid the money to ***************************. The insurance company also state that my name was on the check. Precision stated that they had the right to sign off on my name on my behalf . They stated that that paid Georgia Premier and was under the understanding that they had completed the work. they reached out to Georgia premier by email but after a month had not had any response. When I called, I was told that they would not put a roof on until they were paid in full and had received my deductible as well. I stated that no one gets paid in full prior to doing any work. They stated that they would not refund my money unless they kept a fee for me cancelling the contract

    Been waiting almost a year for my roof to be done. they collected my deductible which was a thousand dollars. still nothing. Don't even hear from them. I called and told them I wanted to cancel, and they said I had to pay a 30% cancelation fee. Still no word from them. I am 72 years old and in bad health and a veteran. my roof still leaks so I have had to contract another roofing company to do my roof. I need my thousand dollars back. Don't want to wait another year. I signed a thing for them to contact the insurance company and now they say it was a contract. I was assured when I signed that it was not a contract.
