Did repairs on my lawnmower and increased the price several times, dropped it off wouldnt start. I called and left several messages they returned my call 6 days later, and expressed to me that my lawnmower was junk, and for me to never come in his store. He should of never accepted the job if he couldnt do it right, there are several things still wrong with it that he claimed he fixed, but claimed it was junk, and its not his fault that it isnt running. I had to pay someone to cut my yard. I was having Easter Dinner with my family. The owner is very rude and dishonest. I did pay storage fees because I had some financial difficulties and explained that to his nephew which I was willing to pay. But he told me today he tried to sell the mower but nobody wanted it because it was junk. I feel he shouldnt have continued to work on it if he knew it couldnt be fixed, he basically took my money. I was told after they repaired all the small things it had some years left on that it was worth it to repair, which the original cost was ******, than it continues to increase. The last of it I was told it was a celanoid which was *****, that was all and he tried to charge me ******. I refused to pay but I did pay ****** and some change.

***************************. Customers mower was left on lot for over 4 months. Storage fees were over ******. We tried to sell mower to recover our parts and labor but unit was in such poor condition nobody wanted it. Eventually customer came and paid and we waved Storage fees. Unit had other problems from sitting outside for four months. We performed repairs needed at that point. Customer became hostile and we cut price in half. We delivered mower and drove it off trailer with husband witnessing that ***** was in working order. Customer called and left very hostile messages over Easter weekend. We returned her call on Tuesday when we were back at work. Customer was very hostile again and stated someone else had repaired mower followed by threats to complain to BBB. She was given every discount possible for her repairs. Repairs were done and no refund is due to her. Her receipt she received at check in states we are not responsible for running condition  of equipment left here over 30 days.

I am rejecting this response because:
When I originally arranged for service to be complete I was quoted $799.58. I spoke with **** and asked him straight forward if the lawn mower was worth putting the money into and he said absolutely. They will repair it and it will have all new parts and be a completely refurbished lawnmower with a lot of life left. I was in the hospital several times at the end of last year and kept in contact with ****. I explained to him I was out of work and not able to get the mower out at the time. **** was working with me. I paid $1032.89 on 2/19/24. At that time I was told there would be an additional $18 charge for a solenoid and there would be no additional charges. I was suppose to have the mower completed and delivered that same week. However, the mower was not completed until 3/28/24 when I then again had to pay another $200.61 because he said a customer spotted an oil leak. When we went to start the mower the next day the mower would not start. I called several times on 3/28/24 and 3/29/24 to try and figure what was wrong with no answer and no call back. I had to pay someone to come cut my grass before the holiday. I had to have someone else look at the mower and they said it needed a fuse and the carburetor needed replaced in which I am in the process of having fixed. The oil is still leaking and the mower smokes. Bottom line is as a business owner why would you accept a job then turn around and tell the customer that the mower was junk and he tried to sell it from under me but nobody bought it. If the mower was junk he should have never taking the job or my money if he was not confident he could refurbish the mower.
    Sincerely,

After reviewing the service record the mower was actually left here for 7 months. We had no legal obligation to do anything else to the mower but take it to her. We are not responsible for running condition of equipment that is abandoned for 7 months. This is my last response.

I am rejecting this response because:  I was promised this mower would be running like new, I paid him, and he said it would be an additional ***** for another part which would be completed that week, a month later I called and asked when was it going to be delivered. I was planning on an Easter hunt for my great grandchildren, instead he charged me an additional 2 hundred and something and dropped it off and it didnt run.  Therefore I hired someone to come cut my yard.  This man is not buisness like at all!   I tried working with him, all I got was promises and lied too.  I paid him any money he wanted, and he still cheated   me, and has a bad attitude!  I wasnt looking for a free ride, but I didnt expect to be taken advantage of eitherhe doesnt deserve to run a business!  I will persue this matter. Thank-you

    Sincerely,
