Hello my name ****** ********* Im from *** **** and during covid on 4/23/2021 I was arrested traveling to Florida were I was eventually booked an given a $15,350 bail and was forced to pay out of pocket $7,459 due to my out of state residency. Fast forward to current times, most of my charges were dismissed an I appeared in ******** ****** ****** on September 11, 2023 at 9am were I was given a defensive driving course and a fine of $1045 that I was ensured would be subtracted from the collateral of my bail refund amount as long as it was completed by December 27, 2023. I continued an eventually finished my course an emailed all the verifying documents to Officer **** from ******** county court , were I was assured that I completed all obligations to the court and that she was awaiting payment for $1045 from my bail bondsman ***** ***** to complete the case. Weeks went by and there were several issues with the bail bondsman promising to make the payment but never doing so. After the payment was still not made after the due date of December 27th I started call everyone we could to get an explanation. Eventually weeks overdue Officer ****s ensured us the payment was made by ***** ***** and that I would not be liable for the past due payment. So after years of waiting to get a court date than months of haggling with the bail bondsman to resolve the situation I was now expecting to get my bail refund that we put up for my collateral prior to my release years ago. I was told in January we need to wait 30 days for a deposition from the judge than they can sign off on it and it will be mailed out to me. It has been well over 30 days and are bail bondsman is acting like theres a problem with the money but wont tell us why he once try to say he owed us nothing untill we immediately sent him the electronic receipt we still had with his name on it from when we made the payment witch i will attach to this message.

I used ******* **** **** *** on behalf of my son, 03/8/2021 after he was detained on a traffic issue in Darien, GA. I paid $ 33, 100 in collateral to ******* **** ****. of which 33% or $10, 923 is to return to me on completion of the case. the case and all court issues was resolved 8/2023. I have been trying to get my $10,923 the return collateral since then. Mr ****** *****, the owner has be given me the run around. He lied, promised numerous times to send me a check and did not. When he did send what was supposed to be a certified check for half the amount of money or $ 5,000. The check bounced twice and was charged an additional $ 30.00 by my bank. Mr ****** ***** has since spot responding to my text message and stop taking my calls.
this is a gross injustice for this man to take advantage of customers when they are at a most vulnerable time. I live in NY and this co was recommended by lawyers I contacted. they are a fraud, I wonder how many other family he is doing this to. he need to be stopped and I would like the return of my collateral back. any help you can provided would be greatly appreciated. GA Bail Bond *** sent me a cashier's check for $5000 which is half of total amount due.  It cleared 11/26/23. he was suppose to send me the entire amount due.

I did texted him for the remaining balance which he said will be mailed soon with no definite date.

I would like to continue pursuing this matter for my remaining balance of $ 5,923.

On July 21, 2021, I used Georgia Bail Bonds llc to bond my son out of jail as I live in Florida. They required 10% of the $16,000 plus an additional 33% of the $16000 as collateral ($5478) I was advised by Mr. ******* ***** the agent for the company. That when my son goes to court someone from the company will be there to refund my collateral ($5478). My son final court date was Aug 15th. On sept 12 Mr ***** stated he was getting the courts doc by close of business. Sept 20th a Mr ***** to my son, he was out of town training and would sign checks when he returns him. As of 10/3 I had not received any refunds and I contacted Mr *****. I provided him with my collateral docs. 10/4 he confirmed my refund is correct and stated he called to courts to get the disposition docs he claim to have gotten by close of business 9/12. I asked him o let let know when the check would be mailed or He said ok. 10/6 I contacted Mr ***** and advised what he told my son on 9/12. He said yes he did and have signed a few checks and would confirm if the check had been issued and mailed via certified mail. After no response on 10/9 I asked mr ***** to confirm if the check has or has not been mailed. He stated sure will. As if today 10/11 I have not received confirmation about if or when my refund has been issued. I would like receive what is owed to me the collateral I paid $5,478.00
