I went to silver city auto repair to have an overheating issue resolved and I already knew it was a hose that needed to be replaced and had other estimates and also was told by three other mechanics that the thermostat was fine and did not need to be replaced, as I had just had one placed on the same car almost a year before and it should not have had an issues at all. When I asked what the service call would be the person that answers and does the intake, ******, told me it was just a hose that needed to be replaced. Then they said they had to keep my car overnight. The next day they added a thermostat and those charges as well and charged me for something that did not need to be replaced. They pushed my seat back that is electric and now it will not go back and I cannot reach the gas pedal or brakes without pain and something to sit on and lift my legs and bottom to reach it. They did not repair my car completely either as it is still running hot. It is leaking around the thermostat housing that they were last in. They also took my dog bed and did not return or replace it. My iphone is missing as well after being there overnight, MY fuse b/ox is missing fuses. MY battery keeps going dead now. MY brakes were also run down while it was there. I had no issues with my brakes until they kept my car overnight. THey destroyed my car maliciously and then overcharged me for repairs I didn't not need and didn't repair the problem either. Now they will not let me speak to the owner or fix what they did wrong or refund my money. They hang up on me and refuse to let me speak to the owner nor give me his number or have him call me back. I need your assistance to get my things back, my car repaired and my money back.

Joys mother (********) called on 10/21/24 to inquire about us checking out her daughters car. ****** informed her that we would be happy to check it out.  ****** was told by ******** that she would be paying the bill as her daughter is homeless and lives in her car.  ****** was told before the car ever got here by ******** that we should call her about the vehicle since she is the one paying the bill.  The vehicle is a health hazard due to the fact that she lives in it with her 2 dogs and a cat. The minimal amount of time necessary was spent inside the vehicle.  The seat was not moved and protective gear like gloves and mask were worn to even move the vehicle.  The water in the radiator was muddy as if it had been gathered from a pond.  The thermostat was not operable.  We communicated with ******** and explained to her what needed to be done and the cost.  The vehicle was kept overnight due to the fact that the thermostat would not get here until the next morning.  The thermostat was replaced along with the hose, gasket and radiator cap for the cost agreed upon with ********.  When it was determined that we needed to have the vehicle overnight ******** brought *** to the shop to get some things out of the car so that she could wash her clothes at her moms.  Her dog bed as she calls it was what looked like a yoga mat and she left it on top of the car.  No one that works here would touch it so it was left on top of the car where *** put it.  Upon *** leaving in the car the next day our neighbor across the street saw it in the road and apparently it had blown off as she exited the parking lot.  That is the last that anyone ever saw it.  We could not order our employees to touch it as it was certainly a health hazard.  ******** paid $400.94 for the repairs and all was well.  Approximately 1 month later *** started calling one day claiming that we broke her seat and stole her dog bed.  She left a message for the owner ***** but still continued to call approximately 10 times back-to-back and became extremely rude to ****** in the office.  Eventually ****** quit answering the phone and let the call go to voice mail.  She left several messages even calling ****** curse words on the messages.  Chris called her back but did not get in touch with her.  After that 1 day she never called again until 2 months later on January 24, 2025.  At that time, she acted like the initial encounter happened just last week.  She called several times on the 24th and all that she said that day was that we broke her seat and stole her dog bed.  She started yelling at ****** while another customer in the lobby checking out could hear her, she was so loud.  ****** simply stated that she would not tolerate being yelled at and hung up. *** called back several times as ****** was with a customer and eventually **** answered the phone.  She was yelling at Bill and demanding the owner ***** cell phone number which is a personal number and will not be given out.  She was demanding to know Rhondas last name and threating ****.  She began to call ****** names and yell even louder so that all of the technicians in the shop could hear her. **** told her he would give ***** the message.  Upon reading this review that she made is the very first time that anything has EVER been mentioned about her iphone, brakes, battery, windows or fuses. At this point we are done with this customer and do not wish to service her vehicle again.  If she has further issues, she should file in small claims court.  If she does not stop harassing the staff at Silver City we will be forced to file harassment charges.
