Had my car towed to establishment June 6 2024 to have the engine replaced. After plenty false dates of completion and false promises of reimbursement for ***** during the long delay, I was finally told to come get the car August 11 2024 and that he would take off $100. When I arrived the car was still not ready, we test drove it to only to see it was running hot and my a/c no longer worked. He also broke the latch on my hood so now the hood couldn't open. I ended up having to send AAA to tow the car to another mechanic August 12. I paid the gentleman $2,690 for this faulty engine replacement. The new mechanic informed me that the engine was bad and that the oil/coolant were mixing signs of a bad gasket and that I needed to replace several other parts in the engine that was just sealed with mass amounts of sealant as well including fixing the radiator from it running hot from shady mechanic.

I put my **** **** F-150 pick-up in the shop on 9/13/22 to get the engine changed out because of blown head gaskets and burnt valve. Cost: $******** for the engine was ********. I paid him with my credit card (I have the receipt). Since September he has avoided me. I kept going by. Finally he put an engine in but it did not work. He said he would put in one that worked. I keep calling and he will not talk to me. I work on people's yards for a living and have not been able to use a lot of my equipment (my truck hauls my lawnmower, leaf blower, etc. I have lost a lot of money because I cannot do my job. I have lost sleep over this. I need my truck back either working with an engine or a refund.
