    The owner of this gym cares more about the money she makes than the competitive athletes at her gym. She fired/ forced to resign multiple coaches so that the competitive teams did not have sufficient coaching to be safe. She fired the lead coach 2.5 weeks before the first meet this season. She alleged he was incompetent, but the teams he has coached at this gym have had multiple athletes go to State and Regionals for multiple years. When parents asked for a plan for how she would provide coaches moving forward, she essentially told us that we could deal with it or leave. In response, the entire women's gymnastics program from level 4-9 has left Intown Stars.These are State champions, regional champions, regional team members, Top 100 in the country athletes, so this is a BIG DEAL! Each family has their own reasons, but our family's' reasons also include increasing tuition by 60% to cover the price of her new rent, a pattern of firing black employees, and abuse of employees including berating employees in the middle of the gym floor in front of their athletes. We've been with ISG for 7 years. We've stayed through change of gym owner, COVID, etc. But it has become clear that the owner puts profits over people. And that is not a place I am comfortable leaving my child.
