After purchasing this trailer it came with leaking water somewhere up undisclosed location, the power was out due to a short or a device causing the short because of to much voltage as well no safety chains welded to the trailer for two weeks I could not begin my work there after my first payment was not made due to the trailer being in poor condition the trailer was picked up by a delivery company subcontracted by overland trailers I communicated with the driver the night before and told him the best time was the next day at 5 pm because I had to clean and remove one of the cats out of the trailer and cat house as a pilot program for testing tolerance for animal rescue and he took the trailer at 10 am with the cat and was not able to communicate due to his cell phone being dead finally I got the cat and I had to meet him at Coney Island ave where I retreated the precious cargo which is how I determined that this company was not a good company to do business with I parted ways and now seeking another trailer with another company the cat is still undergoing quite settling and doing well. I only want a 1944.00 refund for the first delivery which I believe is fair they can keep the remainder.

    Business Response

To whom this may concern, I have attached the contract and a couple of messages between Overland Trailers and the customer. Thanks to our previous customers for reviews and acknowloging our integrity, we have maintain an impeccable business image. We honor and stand by our warranty. We know there's things we cannot control but what I do know is that Overland will always find a solution and try its best to satisfy the customer. The customer ordered a custom built trailer, we made that dream trailer possible. The customer is required to inspect the trailer before agreeing to receive it. The trailer was dropped off after the sales manager gracefully went over details with him over the phone. We have worked with the factory for 5 years now and they've built us quality trailers only. A few days later the customer reaches out complaining about a few things which in a business it will happen. Our job is to get the problem fixed and that's what we tried. Our warranty states that we have to fix it at the factory. We gave him an option to find a service center near him and we would cover the cost. The estimate was more than the trailer so that was a no. We agreed to have it picked up and fix it but later he demanded a totally different size. It's common for a different size to be requested when the wrong dimensions were ordered due to storage or parking problems. Its been an entire month and no actions was taken. I spoke with him prior to pick up to get the trailer fixed. The day of pick up he decided to cause a scene by leaving his animals in the trailer knowing good and well it was being picked up. If he wants a refund he needs to contact the driver who was paid for his delivery and pick up. Overland Trailers did its best to work with him but you cannot change a new **** **** ******* for a 2025 **** *** just because the seat doesn't adjust how you thought. The factory built it and he knew the downpayment was non-refundable due to the material and labor they put into building the trailer. I wish him well and I thank God for customer like him because no matter what we remain thankful and fall forward.
