      Disrespectful of property:I hired Blankenship to apply epoxy coating to a floor. ******** left my home a mess & destroyed about $500 of groceries.Prior to the crew arriving, I cleared the floor, moved valuables to adjacent room & cleared a path to the room. The workspace room is supposed to be sealed from adjacent rooms. I purchased plastic covering just in case I needs to cover additional items, but the ******* told me it wasnt necessary because they do it..Soon there was a dusty haze in my house b/c the crew didnt seal the door to my main living space & left the door open to the basement (adjacent to the room & where I moved everything). After the haze dissipated, everythingI mean everythingin my home was covered with a major layer of dust. Aside from flat surfaces/walls, dust was in crevices of items difficult to clean (e.g., scrapbooks, gift wrap, photos, tools, & much more! The contract warns of a minor dust. This wasnt minor.Reminder: I didnt cover my belonging w/ plastic sheets b/c the ******* TOLD ME IT WASNT NECESSARY!Bad to worse: ******** used an outlet in the adjacent basement without asking me, which is fine except THEY UNPLUGGED A ********************* PLUG IT IN before leaving. I didnt discover this for weeks. By then, the floor had a puddle of melted ice & the contents were ruined.****** Blankenship took no responsibility for the mess in my home. Instead, he resent the contract & highlighted content he believed would prove I did not adhere to the terms, i.e.,areas leading to, should be clear & ready for services, It is the customers responsibility to prepare items NOT to be damaged, & there may be minor dust.As a homeowner with no knowledge of the epoxy process, I made reasonable assumptions that I prepared properly & had reasonable expectations that Blankenship would follow the best practices I read online.I will never restore my home. I installed the epoxy floor to simply my life, yet Blankenship did the opposite. .
