In December of 2016, this client purchased kitchen cabinets from **************************, operating under the parent company ********************** The product was sold with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. On March 13, 2020, the original company abruptly went out of business. In April 2020, new owners purchased the rights to the CliqStudio name, website domain, an assets. During this transaction the new company, operating under CliqStudios Cabinets, LLC, did not take on the liability of the previous company. CliqStudios Cabinets, LLC continued selling the product line this client purchased, Signature Dayton, until the end of 2023. We have not carried this product line for over a year, so the client called into our Care Team, he was told that due to the business closure of the company he purchased from, we were unable to fulfill his warranty claim.
Earlier this week I called and spoke with the client. I let him know if he sent pictures of the cabinet doors he would like to replace, that I would review the photos and contact the original manufacturer to see if I can source the product for him. The photos appear to be normal wear and tear after almost 9 years, versus a product defect that would be covered under a warranty claim. However, I will continue to work with the client to find a fair solution.

Date of Transaction: 11/29/2023 Total purchase price: $31055 Delivered: January/February 2024 We ordered cabinets in Nov 2023. The representative we worked with was phenomenal so this is no way to reflect her abilities and the customer service associate has been wonderful to work with as well. Our issue stems from the cabinets being the worst quality we have come across in years. We installed these exact same cabinets in 2018 and had no issues, very little wear and tear before we left our home in 2021. We decided to use Cliqstudios again because of that fact. Well these cabinets are not holding up at all. For the cost of the cabinet to be as high as it is and the quality as low as it is we feel horrible about making the decision to have used Cliqstudios in our new home. The cabinets were delivered in a very poor manor, Cliqstudios rushed an order to assist with replacing several pieces and some of the whole cabinets in our order due to the condition in which they arrived. We have since had the cabinets in our home since May 2024 and the cabinets are wearing TERRIBLY. the paint is chipping off, the wood is cracking which is causing the paint to c*** The wood is also very soft and so anything that touches it instantly leaves a mark. Cliqstudios has replaced several pieces for us through the process. What I am most concerned about is how long they will continue to help us and honestly we have spent so much money having people come in to switch out the old pieces for the new. Plus to find out Cliqstudios no longer does business with the manufacturer of our cabinets because they had several complaints on quality is enough to make me question why our purchase was pushed through knowing the quality control issues that existed. Please can someone escalate this to remedy the issue.Business Response

CliqStudios has been in direct communication with the client via phone today, 1/10/25. The client shared that she is happy with the design service we provided and that the Care Team was polite and professional when ordering replacement product for her. However, the overall quality of the cabinets is still not what she expected, so we have agreed to send a Furniture Medic to her home on January 17, 2025. This Medic will assess/inspect the cabinets and provide input on the best way to remedy the situation. After the visit, CliqStudios will work with the client to determine next steps. When ordering the cabinets from Cliq Studios I was aware that the oven cut out would need to be modified on site more than likely. However, upon receiving the cabinets it became clear that a significant portion of the cabinets would need to be modified and then the fear became the oven would not fit in the space as it should. I notified the company before we modified any portion of the cabinet incase they needed to see photos etc. They told us after checking with the designer they were certain the oven would fit as originally planned. Over install the following the over manufactures guidelines for spacing etc the bottom drawer of the cabinet closes on the heat shield for the oven. I informed the company of this issue and have now followed up with additional emails, photos and videos showing the issues and have received no response since my last email request for resolution on 6/6/2023. 3 additional emails were sent by myself after this interaction and I received no response in writing or digital communication from the company.Business Response

We regret to say that there was a drop off in communication, however it was because we were working with our manufacturing partner to verify the details requested. We shared the video and specs of the oven cabinet and they confirmed that the appliance will fit this cabinet. As this client acknowledged, the cabinet will need slight modification on site, which is standard for built-in ovens and microwaves. Additional installation details were provided today and we will continue to stay in touch to provide the support needed to complete a successful installation.Customer Answer
