    We initially hired URS Agents to act as our registered agent. They failed to forward or notify us about communications from the state that resulted in ** falling out of good standing. Because of this, we hired a legal firm to bring the *** up to good standing in MD and then dissolve the *** in MD and MASS. This whole process was very expensive. Despite the fact that the *** has been dissolved for two years, URS continues to bill us for registered agent services in the years since the *** was dissolved. Both we personally and our attorneys have notified URS on numerous occasions that we do not have an *** and that we are not retaining them as registered agents. Nevertheless, every year URS ignores these communications and send us a new bill. Nothing we do - phone calls, emails, correspondence from our attorneys - seems to matter. URS Agents continues to bill us even though we no longer have an *** and have told them on numerous occasions that we are not retaining them. It is harassment by them at this point.

    We regret to learn of your unfavorable encounter with our company. We uphold our obligations as a registered agent with utmost seriousness. We acknowledge and appreciate your diligent efforts to reach out to us via emails, phone calls, letters, and communications from your attorneys. It is unfortunate that these attempts were not promptly acknowledged and addressed. 

    With regard to state notices, it is important to note that neither the ***************** nor ************* send state annual report notices directly to the Registered Agent. Upon reviewing our database, we have found no record of any communication or notices received from either state in relation to your account.

    Upon conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, we have discovered that a coding glitch within your account resulted in an incomplete discontinuation process. This glitch caused the issue of continued invoicing on your account. However, we want to assure you that each generated invoice was subsequently voided. We have taken the necessary steps to rectify this glitch within our database and accounting system. As a result, your account has now been fully deactivated and discontinued. This action ensures that you will no longer receive any future communication from our company.

    We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this situation. Please rest assured that we have taken appropriate measures to address the issue and prevent its recurrence in the future. Should you have any further concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    I am rejecting this response because it is completely inadequate.  As URS acknowledges, we made many attempts to correct all of the numerous mistakes this company made while acting as our registered agent and after they were fired as our registered agent.  We talked to numerous of their employees.  Each time, it was as if URS had no record of our correspondence and communications.  Years later, and after we hired an attorney who sent them communications to cease and desist, they now realize that "a computer glitch" caused us to be repeatedly billed (and harassed) by them for years.  Our corporation fell out of good standing in both ******** and ************* and ultimately had to be dissolved (which cost many thousands of dollars btw in back filing fees and penalties).  At various times, URS told us both that they did receive communications from the Secretary of State, which were never forwarded to us, and that they did not receive communications (as they indicated to the BBB). At this point, I have no confidence in anything they might say.  As reflected in so many of their online reviews, they are irresponsible in their business and charge hefty fees for doing absolutely nothing.  I would like a permanent notation made by the BBB that this company has received our complaint and that we are completely dissatisfied with URS's lame response.
