    I rent three storage units at Space Shop Storage. Recently, the staff informed me that if one unit is past due, they will overlock all the units, even if the other units are paid in full. One of my units is located on a floor that requires an elevator for access, the elevator code will not work, preventing me from accessing my paid unit.On December 31, 2024, I visited the facility to access my two paid units, but no one was in the office at 4 PM. A sign on the door stated that they closed at 1 PM that day and would return on January 2, 2025. I called the toll-free number to request a temporary access code to enter the building, but I was told that he couldn't provide one and that a manager would call me back. Unfortunately, I never received that call. This situation forced me to pay for another month of rental because I could not access the unit to clear it out. This is not outlined in our contract and is unfair as a consumer.Additionally, while the facility has a stairwell to the other floors, the door is locked from the inside, which means someone could become trapped in the stairwell with no way to exit the building. This poses a significant safety hazard.

    In accordance with the customer rental agreement, paragraph 2, Denial of Access, states: Additionally, if the Occupant is renting more than one Space at any given time, default on one rented Space shall constitute default on all rented Spaces, entitling the Owner to deny access to the Occupant to all rented Spaces.
    Regarding the emergency exit door: The emergency exit door is designed solely for exiting the building. The customer attempted to access the unit using the emergency stairwell.
