I took my car to this mechanic and after paying him in cash, I found his tools under the hood, one wedged in between headers and radiator, cracking radiator, he didn't reconnect transmission mount which led to excessive vibration on the tool wedged in between parts. I paid him to replace my clutch and after letting him know the symptoms after completion, he got defensive and blamed this disaster on me. My clutch still does not work and I've taken my car to 2 different mechanics after him to determine what's going on. Both mechanics found issues: shifter cable not connected correctly and transmission mount no properly seated and one bolt not tightened. Both mechanics agree, it's internal from clutch replacement. This Lewis mechanical cost me $1025 for clutch that don't work properly, he broke radiator and the cost of the 2 mechanics of $89 & $98, not to mention all the work I've missed, as I'm an Uber driver and this car is my livelihood. Almost 3 months of not working. I've gone back to his store and contacted him to see if he's willing to make this right and he's only gotten defensive and argues instead of listening. His solution is, I remove the clutch myself and bring it to him and he'll buy me a new clutch and I'm to put the clutch back in myself. His solution is not reasonable. He was paid to replace clutch, instead in out all my money, no work, and no working car, plus more damage to it. I imagine being a server and bringing the dish out and it's not to customers liking. Does server tell customer, to bad or do right thing and bring correct dish? Smart business would do right thing. I've tried with this guy and he refuses to be man of his word. Please help
