This is a small moving company based in ellijay, Georgia. I am currently a military member returning from overseas, and I needed to move my Georgia based furniture to the state of Washington. Upon preparing for my move, I spoke with David (primary working at this company) about having my 1 bedroom apartment moved. He stated he could accept my government travel card the military gave me to pay for the move. Therefore, after stating he could take this as a form of payment I paid him a 400$ deposit and booked the trip. 2 days before the scheduled date, he was unable to process my government travel card as he has no credit card machine. He had only been using venmo for his business and government cards could not work on venmo. Therefore, he asked me to pay money from my own bank account for the move and asked my mother a third party to pay it. We do not have that kind of money to front - 6,800$. Therefore, he was unable to move the furniture and never returned my 400$ deposit. Now I am months later without furniture and had to find another company. Potential clients beware, he will scam you out of your deposit.

I hired this company to move me for the second time in the past 4 years. They performed my move from West Virginia to North Carolina in April of 2022. When we exited the home in West Virginia, there was not enough room on their trucks for all of our possessions. We struck a deal with the new owner of our old property to store these belongings in a garage. David C******* owner of the moving company, assured me that they had another move coming out of West Virginia in the next "2 to 3 weeks" and would pick up the rest of our possessions during that move and deliver them to our North Carolina address. Upon completion of the main move, we noticed damage to some of our antique and other furniture. David and I came to a verbal agreement that they would move the balance of our possession from WV and that cost would offset the damage to our furniture. When 6 weeks went by and they had not retrieved our belongings, another verbal agreement was made between David and myself that I would go back to WV, retrieve the belongings, and David would reimburse me for my fuel cost and we agreed upon a value of $500. This was on 5/24/22. I have been in contact with David ever since 5/24/22 and have yet to receive the $500. All he will tell me is "...when I have it, you'll get it".
