On April 12 th I took my 2020 **** ****** to jiffy lube to get an oil change, they mechanic went under the hood conducted service but somehow knocked the transmission cap off my car so on April 17 my car begin to make a loud noise and didn’t want to go i then got it towed to **** dealership where they went under the hood and discovered that they didn’t put the cap back on and the transmission fluid had leaked out causing a burnt out transmission. I then called them he came out and said it was no way that they could have did this. I remind you I had no previous problems with my car until they went under. Well after a short back and forth they declined to pay so I’m stuck with a 7000 repair for a transmission while still making payments on the car. I would like for them to repair it or pay for the damages.

Jiffy lube Investigation Summary Following the service of a **** ****** at our location on April 12th, a claim was made alleging that the transmission fill plug had blown off and ended up inside the air filter box, purportedly due to our service. District Manager Joe C****** personally inspected the vehicle at the dealership and found critical discrepancies in the claim: The air filter box is located significantly above and to the right of the transmission fill plug—approximately 8 to 12 inches away downward—making it physically improbable for a plug to travel in that trajectory. The technician performing the service was not required to interact with the transmission fill plug, which is used strictly for filling. There is no dipstick or standard check method that would involve its removal during our service. Video footage confirms the technician never accessed or reached into the area where the transmission fill plug is located. The path between the plug and the air filter box contains multiple components—wiring harnesses, hoses, and piping—that would have made it impossible for the plug to bypass them and lodge under the air filter. The only detail we could not conclusively determine was whether the air filter box was clipped properly, though it was fully closed. Regardless, this would have no connection to the alleged ejection of a transmission component into the air intake system. Based on the evidence and physical layout of the engine bay, the scenario described is mechanically implausible. Therefore, we have denied responsibility for the claim.

On ** Aug I took my 2008 ****** ****** in to have the AC charged and Coolant changed out. My driver side window was working fine when I gave the tech my key fob. While I was paying (transaction was completed) the other tech that worked on my AC came in and ask is there a trick to put your window up, I replied the passenger side? He said no, then I said no I'll take a look. When I walked out to the car my driver side window was rolled all the way down I attempted to roll it up but could not (it was stuck) you could hear the motor but the glass was stuck. I ask the tech who cashed me out to help he began to try and get the glass out, however the other tech came over and said "its our policy to roll the window down" and they cant fix it because they "don't do windows" I can go the street to *** to get it repaired. I then ask to speak with a manager because my window was working fine when I arrived. He went to get the manager and I followed him to the adjacent bay. I stood outside of the bay while the tech talked to Brittany the manager who was under the hood of a vehicle. I could only hear her say Im not talking to her did you tell her (speaking to the tech). I said I'm right here to talk to, after about 2-3 min the tech came and said she doesn't want to speak with you. I ask was there someone over her he said yes Im going to call. I proceeded to call the **** number on the receipt (no answer so I left a message). The tech came back out and said higher headquarters is making her come talk to you "its our policy to roll the window down". I waited another 20-30 mins in between both bays for Brittany to speak with me she never came out. I found another auto repair place to repair my window (the weather called for 90% rain) paid an additional $343.78 ******* ******** Auto. While enroute to the glass repair I received a phone call from ****** ****** (said he was the Vice President) ************* He was abrasive and rude stated I was offered quote to fix it and was not.

    **** *******

jiffy lube is denying this claim. We have requested a detailed bill for the window repair and all that has been presented to us is a credit card transaction receipt. This receipt does not show what exactly was repaired Our service was performed under the hood of the vehicle not inside the door pane therefore we are denying this claim.

I am just receiving this message, therefore was not given time to respond to Jiffy Lube. As a credit card receipt not understanding how that will prove what kind of work was performed? I was verbally told the window had to be let down (that's their policy ) when working on the air system. Considering this is the second time that I have not recieved emailis in a timely manner i would like to be contacted telephonically* ************ Please
