    DURING A FREEZE, OUR PIPES BROKE, FLOODING HALF OF THE HOUSE'S MAIN FLOOR. **** DAVIS CAME OUT AND REMOVED HALF OF OUR FLOORING AND DRYWALL THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE AND GARAGE. (PHOTOS ARE AVAILABLE) THAT PART OF THE *** WAS COMPLETED AND PAID FOR BY OUR INSURANCE. (FARMERS). SINCE THEN, AND IT HAS BEEN A COUPLE OF MONTHS, THROUGH FREEZING WHEATER NO WORK HAS BEEN DONE TO REPAIR THE FLOORS MOLDING OR DRYWALL. THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS, AND WHEN CONTACT IS MADE, THEY MAKE EXCUSES FOR WHY THEY HAVE NOT BEEN THERE. ACTUAL EXCUSES WERE MADE. 1: WE INADVERTENTLY CLOSED THE ACCOUNT FACT: SOMEONE ON THEIR SIDE SAID THAT WAS NOT THE ***** CAN'T GET THEIR LIES STRAIGHT 2: YOU DID NOT RETURN OUR CALLS FACT: NO CALLS SHOW UP ON ID., AND NO MESSAGES ARE LEFT.3: SAID IT WAS THE INSURANCE FAULT FACT: I TALKED WITH THE INSURANCE AGENT, AND PAYMENT WAS MADE FOR THE CLEANUP, REMOVAL OF FLOORS, MOLDING, DRYWALL REMOVAL ETC. AND HAS AUTHORIZED, AND WE HAVE RECEIVED PAYMENT FOR COMPLETION. THEY CONTINUED TO LIE TO US, MAKE FALSE CLAIMS, AND DID NOT KEEP APPOINTMENTS. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN PROVIDE.

    Good morning,

     

    We apologize for our delayed response, as we received this letter via **** mail carrier. We are happy to report that the mitigation work we were hired to do has been completed and paid for by the insurance company (Farmers). We made multiple attempts to speak to *******************, who admitted she travels often and is frequently unable to answer. Since we did not get a response from the customer and the original work had been completed already, we closed the job on our end. After our team received a call and responded to the customer, we conversed about another quote for the remaining work, however, due to a challenging and hostile experience with the customer, ******************, we did not provide a quote for the remaining repairs. As a result, we respectfully declined to do any further work and communicated our decision to *******************. Although there was some confusion regarding the status of the account, we are relieved to hear that ****************** agrees that the mitigation work has been satisfactorily completed and paid for by the insurance company. We wish the Schmitts all the best as they continue to seek quotes from other companies for the additional repairs. It's worth noting that mitigation is a separate job, and most insurance companies recognize it as such. We apologize for any misunderstandings that *** have arisen, but we felt that it was difficult to communicate with the customer under such circumstances, and this is what prevented us from quoting the additional work.
