I signed up with Dealer Supply to purchase equipment for My AC Guy ***************** in mid to late months of 2024. I operate as a family owned and operated business that started July 1, 2024. I signed up with them because I'm a fan of the Ruud product line. After signing up with Dealer I had issues with almost every order I sent to them. I would place an order and when it arrived to the job site it would be missing items I ordered. The constant excuse was "we didn't have it in stock" or "it was missed due to an oversight". I had one job that they made 3 deliveries because they kept failing to send me the correct materials. I tell you all this to lead to the outcome and the problem I'm currently facing. After all these issues I decided to cancel my account with Dealer **********************. Whenever I started going through invoices to settle out my account I found that they charged me $3,826.28 for warranty items. When I asked to have that credited to my account before making payment I was told for 3 of the items I didn't turn in the old part, and the two larger items (which are in their possession) I didn't fill out the proper paperwork for warranty. This wouldn't have been a issue except I was told by my representative ***** ******** that they didn't need the 3 smaller items returned and he never told me anything about the warranty paperwork on the other two items. I intend to pay what is rightfully owed ($27,162.03), but I shouldn't have to pay for items that I purchased from them and failed, especially the two pieces of equipment that is in their possession.I already had to eat the cost of labor to replace these failed items that I purchased from them. In my opinion this is bad business and I intend to take this as far as needed for them to do the right thing and credit the warrantied items. My next step will be to contact my attorney.
