      I placed an online order at katydids.com for (12) 8 oz. cannisters on 7/8/2022. The order arrived on 7/20/2022. The quantity of my order entitled me to Free Shipping: USPS Priority 3-5 day estimated shipping with cold pack and solar shield during summer months. I was home at the time of delivery, shipping box labeled Mascot Pecans US *** ****** *********** ** *****. Inside the shipping box was a sealed box of 12 containers of Katydids and 2 almost hot Koolit refrigerants inside of plastic bags. I open one can to find the cover paper low in the cannister stuck to melted top row of candy. I immediately emailed ************************** to complain and explain the need for a refund and my request was refused. There was no solar shield in the shipping box, the refrigerant packages were sponge-like and warm to the touch and delivery had been more than 3-5 days. The solution offered via email to resolve, Don't Order in Warm Months! This business failed to provide the service as described.

      I have spoken with ****** ******** a couple of times and we have sent her new product . When I spoke with her she said she would like the product , not a rebate. 

       

      She received the replacement product and a few other of our items yesterday , Tuesday August 9, 2022 . I spoke with her this morning and she is very happy with the way Mascot responded to her request. 

       

      Unfortunately, this product was sold by someone that distributes our product and we ship direct to their customers for them.  The Distributor did not follow through with the customer, so we took over and took care of her. 

       

      I believe if you contact ****** ********, you will find she is very happy with the service we just provided her.

The service rendered by *** ******* was exceptional. I only wish that my initial contact about my dissatisfaction with the delivered contents has been so well received and quickly resolved. *** ******* demonstrated that good service, no, great service, to the customer is paramount for outstanding customer service and potential repeat business.
