The company came out to pave our very long driveway. In the process, one of their trucks ran over and damaged underground plumbing that caused is***s for our neighbor. I called the company and was directed to ******************************* who is their general manager. He told me they'd pay for the emergency plumber to come out and fix the damaged pipes. So I got someone out there, but Spalding Concrete Company said they'd have to pay the plumber via invoice. (These guys are accustomed to being paid before they leave, but they accepted it.) This was 3/15/24. Well, 3-4 weeks later they'd still not paid the $1,320.96 bill to the plumber. I had other work I needed the plumber to do at the house so I spoke with Spalding and they said they would just reimburse me if I paid the plumber. So I did. Well, we're now MONTHS later and I can't get them to reimburse me. Not only that, but I can't find the owner anywhere. It's like he's intentionally hidden himself behind obscurity because he doesn't want to be held accountable for his company's failures. At this point, I'm done talking and want to *** them. I have text chains with ******* and another person to show all of this communication and can provide a card statement for the payment to the plumber. The plumber would also verify my claim here.

**************** Assets d.b.a Spalding Concrete Company, installed an asphalt driveway at our home in November 2023. We paid them in full for the project. On March 5, 2024 the attorney for ************************* Contracting issued a letter to us that they placed a lien on our property for unpaid services and materials owed to them by Spalding Concrete in the amount of *********. Spalding has not paid the bill. Spalding has not responded to phone calls, e-mails, or text messages regarding this matter. We're told that we are responsible for this money, which we've already paid to Spalding, but they did not pay the contractor for the asphalt. We need to them to accept their responsibility and pay their bill in full to *********************, which will release the lien that's been unfairly placed on our home.

June of 2021 received a quote from Spalding Concrete Company to repave our asphalt driveway. We had been experiencing, for years, a sinkhole, around 90 feet in diameter, next to the carport in our driveway which we had been filling with rock until we could get the area regraded and repaved. Spalding Quote: $20,500 to repave including "grade and compact the base, properly slope the driveway away from the house, compact and stabilize the base, level/pressure test the newly compacted aggregate to ensure proper water run-off and compaction. 1-year warranty for any damage or premature deterioration caused in part by an insufficient or underlying issue."June 23, 2021 Job completed and was paid in full.March 2022 noticed a 25 ft crack following the exact same pattern and location as our previous sinkhole.March 6, 7, 15, 23 I texted ******* to have the crack evaluated. April 6, 2022 *****************, company owner, inspected the crack. I was not present. Asked me to add a longer carport drain pipe which I did. April 10, 2022 paid Spalding an additional $2,800 to fill in the crack and seal asphalt hoping to fix the problem. July 1, 19, 22, 29 texted ***, as the crack continued to expand.August 30, 2022 *** came to inspect cracking. Proposed plan: By Nov 20, 2022 he would put more sealant in the cracks. If it continued to sink, theyd cut the affected section, add more fill, and replace by spring 2023. If drainage from the carport contributed to the problem, we'd each pay half. $2000 each.January 5, 2023 filled the crack September 2023 New cracking and sinking has completed the exact circular sink hole that existed before the repaving. Sept 14 -November 8, 2023 Ive texted, called, emailed, driven to posted address, and submitted contact us form asking for help to solve this issue and have received no response. I am asking them to comply with their advertised commitment to "stand by our work" by refilling and replacing the sinking asphalt section per warranty.
