I am writing to formally file a complaint against **** Collins Heating and Air Services due to improper installation work that resulted in my warranty with another company becoming null and void, I had to hire and pay another company to assess and correct the issue, as well as a refusal to acknowledge or address the issue.

**** Collins removed my downspout stating that it was in the way of him installing the hood for my stove. **** stated he’d reinstall the downspout using the same hole from the gutter. On March 15th, **** sent two of his employees to put the downspout back up. They did not put it in correctly. They put another hole in my gutters versus using the same hole as **** said he would. I immediately contacted ****, via text, and he informed me that he would send someone else. I did not want ****’s company coming back to my home. This was due to him not being a man of his word and not doing what he said he was going to do. The next day I contacted ********** due to using the previously to complete my gutters. Due to there being a second hole in my gutter, my warranty with ********** to be null and void.

I reached out to **** and his company requesting that they take responsibility and rectify the damage. However, the company returned the letter to sender unopened, refusing to engage or acknowledge the complaint.

This lack of response and accountability is unacceptable. I am seeking assistance from the Better Business Bureau to mediate this issue. Specifically, I am requesting that the company accept responsibility for the improper installation, compensate for the damages caused, and ensure this type of negligence is not repeated with other customers.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that with your involvement, we can reach a fair resolution.
