      I paid $6000.00 on June 6 2016 to get a 30x50 pad and 10x50 apron poured for my mechanic business. The contractor came out and looked at the job, we discussed the work and I very clearly explained that the shop floor had to have the correct fall on it for water drainage and the correct expansion joints in it to control cracking.I explained that I was going to install automotive 2 post lifts on the floor and anchor them to the concrete and expressed big concern about floor cracking around the lift foot prints.The contractor assured me that he could accept the job and do it with no problems. After about 6 months the floor and apron started cracking and now I may have to remove my automotive lifts and tear out the concrete and start over because of safety issues regarding lifting an automobile and the anchors fail because of the cracking and the vehicle fall and injur someone. I contacted the contractor several times and I was told he would fix the problems, but never has he showed up to fix them.I finally just gave up. But now the cracks are getting worse and I'm worried about lifting a car on the lift and the floor failing around the anchors and potentially causing injuries or death.
