    I am rejecting this response because:  It's offensive and totally untrue.  First, stating that a check was sent in the mail should have been communicated to me with a response to my email, not seeing the information on a BBB website.  If in fact a check was sent, it must be coming by owl or carrier pigeon as I've not received anything and it's been 5 days.  This is exactly what I've experienced for 6 weeks with Quality Restoration . . calling after remediation to see when they'll remove the blowers and dehumidifiers that were running 24/7 both upstairs and downstairs; calling again to see when they'll remove the pile of debris that's been sitting on my driveway; calling again a few days later to see when they're coming to get the rest of the blowers/dehumidifiers; calling a week later to see when they're going to start renovations and the response was back peddling and excuses and no solid answers.  Calling a week later as there has been no communication regarding a project management plan for renovations. Another week goes by with no updates so I called on January 3rd to speak with the lead PM and he said he needed to check with one of his guys and would call me on Monday.  I said to please call between 9 - 11 am because of my meeting schedule for work and he agreed.  Monday/January 6 and it's noon with no phone call.  I call asking for a definite date when they are starting renovations . .more excuses.  I stated that I would need an experienced Project Manager and was told they were short-staffed, and I would have to take the one I specifically said I did not want working on my project because he was inexperienced and asked me things that were none of his business and not related to the renovation project. This situation had become ridiculous especially when this company thinks they can dictate to the homeowner who hired them and is paying them that I will HAVE to accept their pick for a PM. That is when I fired Quality Restoration and told *** he would need to refund my deposit immediately.  That conversation occurred on January 6th and today is January 15th with NO refund of funds which they should never have processed.  No communication, no empathy for renovation disruption to homeowner, low customer service skills, no plan/follow up discussion with homeowner.  I think this company is a disastrous mess and I regret not firing them sooner!!

    Good Afternoon 
    Ive tried to do a refund  online, Received the notice that it cant  be completed. 
    A check was put in the Mail on Thursday January 9th. 

    The homeowner higher asked to do the project then she did not like the project manager. She was assigned to 2 days later she voided our contract two days later I tried to refund her the money and as soon as I found out it didnt go through I put the check in the mail. Im not sure why she is complaining about it.

    On 4/3/24, this company was referred by a plumber to mitigate water damage due to a leak in the condo unit above mine. Some of the mitigation work done (removal of flooring) was excessive, and the estimate for restoration included costs that far exceeded what was needed based on the extent of damage. The estimate for restoration work was rejected by me and my insurer.

    They were initially called out to my house by a plumber for a sewage backup in June 2022. They came in and brought dehumdifiers and fans and left them for days and billed my homeowners insurance. The initial plumbing repair happened in July 2022 and cost over $5,400. In Novermber 2022 I had plumbing issues again. I called the plumber who did the work and Quality Restoration got involved again for mitigation, yet I never called them either time. They must work hand in hand with the plumber. Quality came in and placed a fan and dehumidifier in my bathroom, they removed the vanity, cut out the bathtub and placed it in my yard where it still sits today. I have emailed both the plumber and the Quality Restoration and consider the job NOT completed! They also provided me with an insurance estimate of over $9,100 to put the bathroom back together. I will not be using them again.
