  On Dec.5, 2023, I deposited a check I had been waiting on from a legitimate contest with Kools cigarettes and ****** Gas Station where I was the grand prize winner. I had verified everything through ********** and Murphys, Kools, reviewed the promotions company through the bbb website.I filled out the publicity release forms and age if verification and was sent the check. I had a contact and phone numbers and everything at all companies. They were willing and able to verify everything and help in anyway.I went to the branch and the teller, looked at me like I was insane. She then went to the back to ask someone something and I told her I had all the contact info and she did not want the info. She said it wouldnt matter that there would be a hold until Dec.12th and still behaved as if I was stupid or like it was a joke.She said it would take time for her to write the hold up and the deposit slip and she would mail it to me. I left without anything but a picture I took of the check!! It did come in the mail but explained the hold as unable to verify!!! They never once tried to verify! At all in any way! Plus the hold on paper NOW saidDec. 14th not the 12th she told me.Now I am poor and have went through a lot in the past few years and have been struggling. This was a god send for food or things we need and to pay regular bills, prevent for gas. They didnt care and I still dont have access to even a dollar of it.So then I hear back from the promotion company checking on me, I tell them I still cant access it and how they treated me like I was lying or a criminal or something. He ga e me More info for them to verify.I call the bank and speak to ******, I try to explain the situation and how badly I need access to some of it.She laughs at me and says, and I quote You have $2.08 in your account and then try to deposit a large check(lol)looks like fraud to me I try o er and o er to give the verifying info and the contacts..she says the $ could be there today and not tomorrow ..so that means nothing! She says its a fraud or a as amand I can come pick up the check or just wait until the hood is liftedthat she cannot help me!! She refuses to contact anyone and refuses to listen to me. Makes me feel like an idiot and I was so insulted! I have never been treated so bad in my entire life! Never been so disrespected and unheard! Made fun of me for how little my balance was!!!! Am I not still a customer??I leave in tears, streaming down my face! Crying so hard I had to pull o er to compose myself! I try to decide how to handle this.
