The last visit was on Oct 3, 2023. She was supposed to remove all floor and wall tiles, install new hardware in 2 tubs and showers and retile walls and floors and add / replace shower doors. Replace floor tiles in kitchen and add backsplash. Replace lighting and paint in hall baths and kitchen / living area. Her claim is that she does high end 5-star custom work. She required final payment even though there was repair work still pending. She delayed the repair work because her husband was out of the country, they were working on other projects and had multiple no show appointments. On some issues she or her contractor dismissed the issue stating that they could do nothing about it (e.g., unsightly dried grout on the bottom of my niche shelf, gaps between the recessed lights and the ceiling, etc.)When I wrote a review on *****'s List, she maligned me by saying some people can't tell the difference between cracked tile and the natural look of stone. Yet I had an email from her acknowledging that the tile had a crack and a chip. I had to delete the post to re-post with pictures. Then she commented that no matter what you do you can't please some people and I am not able to respond to her comments. When the worker installed the dimmer switches upside down and the writing and the wi-fi symbol were upside down, she wanted to see the box to prove it. There are issues that she could have corrected but was unable or unwilling to do it; others she cant correct without major work so she should have been willing to give me a credit (e.g., **** dried grout on the bottom of white shelving in the niches). She never admits that anything is wrong. The uneven tile in my mater bath because they had to tear it out when they didn't measure correctly for the tub faucet. The vendor could have, but did not, cut the custom shower door / glass so that I can clean the entire tub without having to step inside of it.This is definitely not 5-star work.
