On December 13th of 2023 *********************** came to see the foundation of a house that needs repair. We greeted and spoke for an unusually long time, but he did eventually see the basement/foundation. He did not seem to take measurements or spend the time that other contractors did assessing the details around the entire perimeter, and then spent a very long time talking about himself. He did do a preliminary rough sketch on paper (which he did not leave), and said he would send a "stamped report" with the recommended repairs in about a week. I was a bit uneasy at the way he continued to talk (spent several hours telling about his personal life) and ignore calls he was receiving, then said "I get paid to do my work" as if to demand his fee before leaving and so I used a credit card because I had a creepy feeling and I needed him to leave, but didn't want to pay by check. Not surprising, I never heard back. He does not return calls and does not answer emails. I disputed the charges with my credit card company and am now filing this formal complaint, not only for getting my money back but to warn others that *********************** is unprofessional, does not respect the client's time, takes money and does not deliver work, and may now actually be a professional ********. I should have researched Peach State Building Consultants beyond BBB before, because there are many negative reviews with the same complaints online for recent years.
