    Atlanta Bookshelves was contracted in February ****************** April 2025. They had to come out twice to measure (owner *** F). We specifically went over details related to custom trim in the house and ensuring they had all details to install per the drawings. They collected 50% to lock in the contract and date at this time. On install day, they were to begin installing around 10 am per the terms in the contract and work no later than 9pm. The installers did not show up until 2pm and I was engaged multiple times to inform me of their delays. When they did show, they started promptly. About 2-3 hours into the install, the installer informed me that the cabinet was not built to the drawings and asked if we wanted them to halt the project. Upon looking at the options we allowed them to proceed (this should have been my first red flag). When it neared 9pm, the installers were still working hard to try to complete the project, and I noticed it was only 40-50% installed at this time. I asked them how much longer and they assured me only an hour or so longer. They did not leave until 1 am and that was after forcing them to wrap up and leave as this was against the terms within the contract and they were no where near finished. They left a mess, completed about 80%, and the workmanship of the install was lackluster at best. The shelves are not level, they didnt have material to complete the job and would have to return anyway to finalize the install. After documenting with AB that this was unacceptable, they sent the owner to review the punch list of about 15 items to complete the job a few days later. *** assured me it would take only 2 weeks to get the necessary materials and that was back in April. I have had email correspondence weekly since. They continue to delay, make excuses, and push out their return under the guise of not having qualified techs to perform the work. This goes to show that their business model and lack of customer service is ineffective. RUN!
