Sometime, in the month of May, 2023, I gave ****** of Jonesboro Carpet a deposit of $1,000 for flooring work to my home(***********************************************************). I later decided to sell the property and move to **************. The investors purchased the house as is. I informed ****** and asked for my deposit back. He told me on several occasions that he would refund my money. I called him several times and he didn't answer the phone. He made an excuse about he went to the store where he purchased the flooring and their policy is after 30 days there's no refund. My question is: Why would you order flooring when you didn't have a definitely date on when the job is going to be done? I have done business with other major company like Empire Today and place my order with a deposit down, and once I'm really to complete the I give a date for it to be completed. He promise to send my money by ***** on August 7, 2023. I sent him a text telling him that I haven't receive the money. He never responded. I called him and he never responded to this date. Thanks for taking my complaint.
