    I hired this company on 10/18/2023 to remove some trees from my backyard. It was a significant amount of trees and I was expecting a hefty price tag but when the gentleman came and provided a quote I was pleasantly surprised to find it was well below my expectations. He even lowered the price further when i told him we had already agreed to give the job to someone else. It was the proverbial "offer to good to be true" however. He struck me as someone young and eager to work and I was more than willing to pay a generous gratuity more commensurate with the going rate for the job had it been done as described. I had budgeted much more than what he was asking and I really wanted to help this guy. I paid half the money ($900) that day and the next morning he showed up with two other guys. He left but the two men stayed and cut down the trees. However, when they finished they asked for the rest of the money. I hesitated because the job had not been completed. They said they were only hired to cut down the trees and he was supposed to come and do the cleanup. I told them I would give it to them once he arrived but he never showed. I ended up giving them $450 (half of the remainder) and he promised to come the next day. The next day he called and said he had complications and would come the following day. This continued for over a week. I finally got fed up and hired someone else to clean everything up. I paid them almost $2000 just to cleanup and only got them to go that low as I agreed to help them myself. I'm severely disappointed in the business practices of this individual. He basically pocketed $900 from me and did absolutely nothing. I plan on looking into legal options and I hope anyone reading this learns from my experience and doesn't hire this person. He is UNRELIABLE & UNTRUSTWORTHY!!!

    The business owner, ********************* dud not have proper equipment for cutting trees. One of the trees that was cut down almost hit my house by a couple of inches. There was plenty of room for the tree to fall in the opposite direction from the home. ********************* was paid in full, hut neglected to complete the job. ********************* offloaded 4 bags of tree limbs into my yard from the back of his pickup truck that that was collected from another property. ********************* left trash (water bottles, paper, etc.) and a huge pile of leaves and branches in the back yard. I have text messaging showing that the business owner stated repeatedly that he would collect the 4 bags of limbs and the pile of trash , limbs, and leaves, but never returned to complete the job. Also, ********************* was seen on home camera throwing limbs from the yard back into an area of the yard that I asked him to clean the brush. ********************* also damaged the sod in my yard with his truck, and promised that he would bring new sod to repair the area, but never returned with new sod for the damaged area.

    I hired ********************* to cut down and haul away three trees that were on my property. He came and partially cut down two of them. He left, saying that he needed to get his chainsaw. then returned and partially cut down the third tree. Throughout, he kept asking for more money than the originally agreed-upon price. After he had partially cut the trees down, he left, saying that he was going to get a different truck to haul away the trees and that he would return to finish the job, but he did not return. I was unable to contact him, but he did contact me a couple times saying when he would come to finish the job. However, he did not come at any of the times he specified, which posed an inconvenience to me because I had to rearrange my schedule in order to be home at the times when he claimed he was going to return. As a result the trees are lying in my backyard, rendering it unusable. One of the trees is also lying halfway in my neighbor's backyard. I want a refund so that I can get another company to finish the job properly.

    On April 25, 2023 ***** (owner of Brilliant Circle) arrived at my home to quote a custom shelving job. He quoted $1200 and requested a $600 initial deposit. I paid the deposit that day and the following day he arrived 6 hours late to begin work and without any of the necessary equipment to begin work. Believing that he lacked the skillset necessary to complete the job satisfactorily we asked that he no proceed with the job. In the interest of fairness I subtracted $200 based on cost of materials, $150 as a prorate for his efforts that day, and only asked that he return $250 of my deposit. He asked for 10 days to do so an I agreed. Since then it has been 17 days and each following day after the ten day **** he says he will return the money and then doesn't.

    03/01/23-03/13/23 is when the hiring job/incidents took place I paid $1500 The business committed to cutting down 2 trees and the tree stumps with dumpster removal.The nature of the dispute is that the work was not completed (not even one whole tree was cut) only pieces of a tree was cut. He kept coming late and leaving with the complaint that he did not have the tools and had to go get new ones and come back. The main concern is when he cut the tree limb half way and called me outside to tell me he was going to the store to get some rope and to make sure my family stayed on the otherside of the house until whenever he could come back to cut the tree limb down. The next day was a severe wind storm and he didn't show up early or at all and the tree collapsed while we where gone and thank God only my fence was damaged and my dogs were inside and my home was spared. He came to tell me he was sorry and that he will come by to fix the fence and finish the job along with a refund of at least $300 because when the tree fell me and my neighbors and 8 year old daughter had to cut it up and move it from my neighbors driveway and out of the way. After that he never came back still to this day and I do not have any money, my fence and tree is still messed up and my dogs can not go out there. I paid my money for nothing but a headache. I asked him to show me his credentials and he did not send them or have any nor did he ever order a dumpster. He used and messed up my water hose by tying it up to my tree and even was using my tools and my 16 year son he had him doing his job for him when I wasn't aware but I have it on camera. He put me and my family, my dogs, and my home in danger and he should not be allowed to steal my money and walk away like none of this has occurred. I am heart broken and now have mistrust in who I can hire to fix up things in my home.
