I think they are a sham I am 80 years old, have gone through hurricane *** and still getting my home back. Was excited to finally be getting inside done and looking forward to redecorating. I purchased carpeting from Lowes, which is now strictly StainMaster carpeting . From just be installed I made mention that carpet did not look right. Looked dirty and raggedy. Said once vacuumed would be better. Each day became a little worse. I took photos and returned to Lowes An inspector came to house and stated in his report there was a defect. You never spoke with same person, and no one every called you back. My daughter also do to my age and health issues became involved. Went on for weeks and weeks. Then told by ***** we would have to contact StainMaster, which we did. The same process of submitting photos and no return calls. My pressure has escalated to 218/116 which is stroke prevalent with all this stress. I am now told it is past the warranty and I am to have professionally cleaned and if that doesnt work to have a deep cleaning and to boot, I have to pay Who has to clean new carpets. They should be put out of business. I had to pay for this carpeting in two rooms which were completely damaged in hurricane and from my social security money. They can not keep putting out this terrible product and people get no restitution. I hope people pay heed to these reviews and never purchase StainMaster carpet. They are ripping people off and laughing at us all. I will now see recourse with small claims. I do not have money to replace. Bet they dont have StainMaster in their homes
