KSU ****************************************************** I have been a struggling adult trying to pay for past student loans and KSU courses as well. I tried the ****** payment system, but the fees and charges added up to be excessive for an online student (ONLY) with no extensions available- I was left with the only resource of withdrawing from my courses in which I could only withdraw from one as the other had an expired withdrawal date in the first week of studies. So ok the money i paid ****** can be applied towards the single class that I am still registered for/ the class that I can not drop. I called the bursars office to figure out how much the single class would cost and I was told that IT DID NOT MATTER BECUASE I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE BALANCE OF BOTH CLASSES ($1800)- BEFORE THE DEADLINE OF JAN 21- NOW IF I COULD NOT AFFORD BOTH CLASSES AT $1800 WHAT MAKES KSU THINK THAT I CAN AFFORD TO LOSE THE MONEY I PAID AS A DOWN PAYMENT FOR MY COURSES THAT ORIGINALLY REGISTERED FOR. I CANT DROP THE COURSE I CANT ATTEND THE COURSE BECVAUSE I CANT PAY THE FULL AMOUNT BALANCE- AND KSU DOES NOT GIVE A D ABOUT HOW DIFFICULT IT IS FOR OLDER STUDENTS TRYING TO GO BACK TO COLLEGE- FINISH WHAT THEY STARTED MANY YEARS AGO- ALL WHILE WORKING TWO JOBS TO TAKE CARE OF A SINGLE PARENT HOUSEHOLD- AND DONT SAY APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS AS I TRIED OVER 20 SCHOLARSHIPS LAST YEAR AND WAS DENIED DUE TO THE YOUNGER GENRATION'S NEED FOR THE FUNDS- THIS IS WICKED- GREED OVER NEED!

I applied for the PhD in Computer Science for Fall 2022 at Kennesaw State University and got accepted to this program. In their website, they mentioned the program is 60 credit hours for people with Master's degree and 72 credit hours for people without it. I have two Masters degree in the same field and had an impression that it will be 60 credit hours for me based on the information provided on their website; so, I applied for it. However, when I got the offer after submitting all the requested documents, it was mentioned 72 credit hours in my offer. Then, after spending a lot of time and energy, communicating with so many people in CS department for several times, they removed 60 credit hours from their website and the graduate admission department confirmed it through email that this information were incorrect. As a result, I decided to withdraw from this program before the withdrawal deadline. I spent $499 (including $60 application fee, plus evaluation fees, transcript fees and so forth) to apply for this program as it was mentioned it is 60 credit hours with the Masters degree before I apply.I tried to contact them and they were not willing to refund my money. I appreciate BBB to help me get my refund.
