      July 31st, 2024 $39 Charged me twice for annual fee. I went in and **** took my payment on a debit card. Then they ran it back on my credit card for the same amount

      I tried on 3 separate occasions to reach the manager at this establishment but she is never available during buisness hours, I spoke with another employee who assured me that the card on file had been changed. This apparently never happened and my card was charged. ***** the manager there proceeded to explain how rude I was for wanting an explanation on why my card was charged for services I no longer wanted after successfully ending my membership. Not only did I bring multiple people to this establishment I spent hundreds of dollars here myself and the minute I leave all of a sudden no one wants to communicate only forcibly charge my card and claim to have reversed charges that instead go from pending to posted because of personal feelings they have. I have already alerted my bank to the fraudulent practices here and hope to have this as a warning.

      Mrs. ****** was a member of the Workout Anytime ******** location. She cancelled her account. She had an account that gave her family members special benefits when they were "add ons" to her account. All of the accounts she has an as add on were coming out of Mrs. ******* credit card. 

       

      On 8/9/24 I wrote to Mrs *************** wanted to reach out to get your account updated and corrected. I understand that you updated your card on file but it may have only been applied to one of the 3 accounts. This is what we see in our system right now:


      Blessing is on card 0011
      Blessing ** is on 0234 
      Onyekachi is on 0234


      Unfortunately, the 0011 card was added to only one account. We understand it is an inconvenience, but we need to get the account holder of the card to call us at ************ and update Blessing ** and *********'s accounts. 

      I can have the money reversed (Takes 3-5) days, and the 2 accounts would show as past due until someone puts a card on file for it. How would you like me to proceed with this?

      We were within our rights to charge this card, as there were signatures on file that are attached to this as well. She wanted the card changed and to have a different card billed. We refunded the money back to her card, so that her mother and siblings could come in and use their own card to pay in the future. We did every single thing she requested of us. 

      I have uploaded the entire email thread to this as an attachment. 

      I have also uploaded her contract with us, where you will see her signature on the card ending in 0234. We were not wrong for billing this card, but still made sure we took all the extra steps she requested so ensure another card was on file. Mrs. ****** was very agressive with us, told us she was going to come teach us how to do our job, and within the first couple minutes of asking us to do this for her told us she was contacting the BBB.
