    On August 14, 2024, I hired Bright Day Moving LLC to assist with a move to my new home at ******************************************************************************. Before the move, I explicitly requested that all my belongings, particularly my expensive furniture, be properly protected and covered during the process. *** ****, who represented the company, assured me that his team consisted of professional movers who would wrap and protect everything accordingly.However, when *** **** and his crew arrived to execute the move, I immediately noticed that none of my items were wrapped. As the movers began unloading and moving items into my home, they caused damage by bumping items against the walls, dropping them on the ground, and generally mishandling my belongings. My furniture became dirty and some woodwork was damaged as a result of the poor ***********. **** acknowledged the issues and proposed a resolution, stating that the company would send someone to clean the damaged furniture and repair the woodwork. Unfortunately, progress on these resolutions has been slow, and as of September 3, 2024, I was informed that *** **** had unexpectedly passed away due to a heart attack.While I sympathize with *** ***** family and understand the need to allow them time to grieve, it has been nearly four weeks since the move, and my issues remain unresolved. I am filing this complaint with the BBB to document the damages and seek a resolution. I would like Bright Day Moving LLC to address the damages caused during the move and complete the agreed-upon repairs and cleaning as soon as possible.Desired Resolution:I am requesting that Bright Day Moving LLC:1.Follow through on their commitment to clean the furniture that was dirtied during the ************* the woodwork and any other damages caused during the move.3.Replcement If necessary 4. Provide a timeline for when these actions will be completed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
