      Company installed roof in 2016. A tile in the garage started showing signs of leaking. A different unrelated contractor happened to be on property and viewed the damage. He stated that most likely it was a result of some gaps left during some flashing that was installed. Rain storms with sideways blowing wind would most likely cause rain to get in. Normal rain storms would probably not. Since tropical ********************* came through last weekend, timing of the leak made sense. Location of the leak in the attic appeared to be consistent with their analysis as well. I tried to reach ****** to see if they would send someone out to review the damage and determine if the repair could be fixed due to improper installation. I was told the roof labor warranty was only for 2 years. Since it's been over that time, they would only send someone out if we obtained a report from a home inspector that determined the leak was due to improper installation. Representative did not know if ****** would cover the cost of the inspector report. The cost of a home inspection is $400. At this point, i feel like I'm gambling. Risk $400 for the chance Jaspar will cover the inspection fee and repair? Or just call someone else and be willing to pay $1000?

      The property that I purchased 4 years ago had a roof replaced by Jasper Roofing/Contractors in ******* *******. During the storms there was water damage in the interior of the house. I immediately called the company and told them what had occurred. I was told that I had no warranty on the roof since the roof was done by the previous owner and that the warranty is not transferrable. Please explain this to me. So you mean to tell me that if you buy a property and the roof is done with the previous homeowners, the new homeowners have no rights? That is totally ridiculous and I need this situation to be resolved. The roof needs to be repaired and they are refusing to do this. So the roof continues with the leaks and the company that did a horrible job to begin with refuse to take any responsibility in fixing them.
