      Bought new garage doors in ************************************ **** from this company. Within ***** months doors began corroding unlike previous doors that lasted. Reached out to the company and was told they wouldn't replace all of the doors (2 large doors)but would replace damaged panels). Long story short they stated they had a new vendor that wasn't up to par since COVID and there was absolutely nothing they would do for me and at this time suggested I should have been washing and washing doors for help to preserve them in a coastal range. Would have been nice to know this when doors were purchased or a suggestion of an upgrade due to coastal area. I received no satisfaction from this company and sadly where I once did business I will no longer nor would I refer anyone else to them. Poor customer service, major run around over several months and I am stuck with an inferior product that no one stands behind.

      Dear **************: We submitted your corrosion issue to CHI Overhead Doors. We did our best to get the salt corrosion issue at least partially covered to get you new doors. Unfortunately, they (CHI) would not budge because you live a couple blocks from the ocean which is excluded in the warranty. We've installed hundreds of doors in your area and thankfully have not had the same corrosion issue. We have even offered free labor to replace the doors. We wish you the best on your future endeavors with regard to the doors. All door manufacturers have the same limited warranty for saltwater environments.
